GOD EATER 3 is an action-packed, fast-paced RPG developed by Bandai Namco that builds upon the foundations laid by its predecessors to deliver an intense hunt-centric experience set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monstrous Aragami. As the third main entry in the acclaimed GOD EATER series, this installment introduces fresh gameplay mechanics, expanded customization options, and a robust story, all while maintaining the series’ signature blend of frenetic combat and anime-inspired storytelling. For fans of high-octane action and cooperative multiplayer, GOD EATER 3 offers a thrilling ride packed with adrenaline and strategic depth. The core gameplay centers on hunting colossal Aragami creatures using an arsenal of transformable weapons known as God Arcs. These weapons, which can shift between melee and ranged forms, provide dynamic combat that rewards skillful timing, strategic use of abilities, and adaptability. GOD EATER 3 introduces the new Predator and Arsenal styles, which add layers of complexity and versatility to fights. Predator Style allows players to utilize fast, aggressive close-quarters combat with blood-infused attacks, while Arsenal Style focuses on firepower and ranged options. This dual-style system encourages experimentation and lets players tailor their combat approach to fit their playstyle or the demands of specific encounters. Visually, the game impresses with its detailed character models, intricate weapon designs, and large, beautifully rendered environments. Each Aragami boss is a spectacle, designed with unique aesthetics and attack patterns that keep battles fresh and engaging. The environments themselves range from barren wastelands to lush ruins, all rendered with a vibrant color palette and smooth animations. The art direction draws heavily from anime influences, featuring expressive character portraits and cinematic cutscenes that help to immerse players in the dramatic narrative. The story of GOD EATER 3 explores themes of survival, identity, and the human cost of endless conflict. Set against a backdrop of a world devastated by monstrous threats, the narrative follows a diverse cast of characters united by their role as God Eaters—elite warriors equipped to combat the Aragami menace. The game’s plot is delivered through a mix of in-game dialogue, cutscenes, and mission briefings, weaving personal stories and larger conspiracies together. While the narrative may occasionally lean on familiar tropes and anime-style melodrama, it remains compelling enough to drive players through the campaign and invest in their squadmates. Multiplayer plays a significant role in GOD EATER 3, with cooperative missions supporting up to four players. The game shines brightest when teaming up with friends or online players to tackle challenging Aragami hunts. Coordination, role specialization, and synergy between different playstyles become crucial in overcoming tougher foes, making the multiplayer experience both rewarding and social. The matchmaking system is functional, though some players have noted that the community size varies, impacting the ease of finding co-op partners at times. Customization is another strong aspect of GOD EATER 3. Players can extensively modify their characters’ appearance, weapons, and abilities. The skill tree system allows for deep specialization, enhancing combat effectiveness and enabling unique builds. Weapon upgrades and crafting provide an additional layer of progression, encouraging players to engage with the game’s resource-gathering and economy systems to optimize their gear. This depth adds longevity and replay value, especially for those who enjoy fine-tuning their loadouts to face increasingly difficult enemies. Despite its many strengths, GOD EATER 3 is not without flaws. Some players have criticized its sometimes repetitive mission structure, which can lead to grind-heavy gameplay as you farm resources for upgrades. The story pacing can feel uneven, with slower narrative sections punctuated by intense action sequences. Additionally, while the game’s UI is generally functional, it occasionally feels cluttered or unintuitive, particularly for newcomers trying to navigate its numerous menus and customization options. Minor technical issues, such as occasional frame drops during large battles, have also been reported but don’t significantly detract from the overall experience. In summary, GOD EATER 3 offers a compelling blend of fast-paced, strategic combat and rich customization set within a vibrant, anime-inspired world. Its dual combat styles, cooperative multiplayer, and deep progression systems provide ample content and variety for both newcomers and longtime fans of the series. While it may lean heavily on certain genre conventions and requires patience for its grind, the exhilarating hunt sequences and satisfying combat mechanics make it a standout title in the action RPG genre. For players craving intense monster battles and a captivating post-apocalyptic narrative, GOD EATER 3 delivers a thrilling and memorable adventure. Rating: 8/10

oyun hakkında aklıma iyi hiçbir şey gelmiyo birisinin bu oyunu gerçekten isteyerek girip oynaması için bilgisayarının sadece bu oyunu açması lazım ama ben öyle bi konumda kalsam oyun oynamayı falan bırakırdım muhtemelen.

After the excellent GE:R and GE2:RB, this is a big step back in terms of gameplay and the number of mechanics, as well as how much everything is cut. I am disappointed.

Combat is a little janky but really fun with the high paced action and varied weapons once you get the controls down. The story is nothing special, but the cast can be endearing and have some great moments. My biggest gripe is that it suffers from its predecessors issues with small and repetitive combat zones, but if you enjoyed the previous titles you'll know what to expect and likely enjoy it anyways. Overall a fun game with excellent anime-inspired visuals and decent combat.

Don't bother. Gameplay is extremely repetitive, with little variation on the maps and monsters. The comparison to Monster Hunter is obvious, since you need to constantly go out and hunt creatures to get parts to upgrade/assemble weapons. The problem, at least for me, is that the narrative very clearly emphasizes human enemies (
there's a literal order to sacrifice you and all your friends for 'the greater good' as well as thousands of others
) and you never actually fight against any of these threats. Every single time, without fail, the narrative will instead make some monster show up and make you fight against it, and then moves on like nothing ever happens. On top of all of this, the cutscenes drag on forever and are full of clear emotional manipulation which falls flat since all the conflict magically goes away due to cutscenes and you never face the problems causing emotional turmoil headon.

The game is really short and barely has content compared to its predecessors, though having gone back to it recently after replaying the previous ones I do appreciate some stuff it has going for it. + Obviously it's easier on the eyes graphically, both character and aragami movements flow better than before. Funnily enough you can kinda see how stiff the old monster movements were when you fight them next to the new GE3 monsters. + The two new weapon types are pretty fun to use too, in addition to the old weapon types. + The addition of Diving to quickly navigate the map is a GODSEND. It feels like the natural next step for a fast-paced game like this. + I appreciate how they make the story more "dynamic" even though it's still confined to the usual hub-to-mission cycle. It does feel like an adventure at times with the moving base. The story is also quite the reboot so I guess it could serve as a good entry point to the series for those unfamiliar. - Really short campaign, I think even Resurrection had more than this? - This is more a complaint for the series overall, but the skills you find are mostly pretty useless. The general-use skills like Burst attack up or Stamina up is nice, of course. I'm talking about the weirdly specific stuff like entering full burst when a male teammate dies. Or the interesting stuff like getting a boost to your step move when your skill level reaches 5, but the skill level also caps at 5. Like what is the point? Never mind the amount of RNG slop you have to go through to actually get the decent skills... - Basically, don't expect MH-level of fun skillbuilding like adding iframes to your dodges, raising attack when you're inflicted with something, more crits, more attack against enraged monsters, etc. Just get the generic skills you need, the rest of the fun comes from the weapon types, BAs, ATs, and Engages. 7/10, it's a neat action game that probably won't hold up to other games of its kind nowadays, but the gameplay still feels snappy and the story setting interesting enough to keep you going. I'm personally enjoying it now that I'm replaying it after quite some time. Worth a try on a sale.

I love it~ A great evolution from the other God Eater Series! This game gives me such a nostalgic feeling! I cleared all the story missions back in God Eater 2 on PSP, and jumping into God Eater 3 feels like coming home—but better. The improvements are amazing! The graphics are a big step up, and I really love the new features like the Engage system, the Dive move, and the in-battle conversations with your party member (this way the characters feel more like real friends). And of course, I still loves all the characters—God Eater has always had great designs and personalities across the series. Highly recommend for fans of the God Eater series and action RPG lovers in general! >w<
