First Things first, this is still a God Eater Game by Heart. The Combat is the same you´re used to and the new Weapons are a great addition, as well as the individual Customization for the Old Weapons can shake their playstyle up quite a lot. The Monster Designs are fantastic still and the Environments are also quite detailed and varied. Now...i was personally disappointed by God Eater 3. Most of it has to do with the Writing. Its nowhere near as strong as it was in the first two games, Problems get brought up and resolved immediately within the next quest, no real emphasis is placed on a Characters struggles. Its like the Writers were afraid to commit to character growth during the story and opted for a safer, but much more boring experience. Which then makes Sense to have Characters Backstory and Development located in a seperate Questline only available after playing troughout the entire Main Storyline. Also, Balance is a Mess. Most of my Hunts never broke the 10 Minute Mark, only in some extreme cases where i played like a drunken Idiot did i manage to die enough times for it to be an issue. All in all, if you´re in it for the Monsters and the hunts, you might get some enjoyment out of this. Just dont expect a stellar ride.
