Brutally hard 2D sidescolling schmup. Love the pixel art. Main thing that turned me off from this one is the lack of build variety and difficulty. Most upgrades don't have a large impact, meaning that to progress farther into the game you'll need to rely more on skill than finding broken combos. The problem with that is most bosses you'll need to fight multiple times to understand what they are doing, and since they all look similar it can be hard to tell what attacks they are going to do. On top of that dying means restarting the run, so if your deep into a run and die to something you haven't seen before it could be several runs later until you see it again...

A fun little sidescrolling blaster with decent bosses and difficulty, good plane options and rock soundtrack that fits the aesthetic. Great for brainlessly blasting away 20-30 minutes if you're looking for something to do briefly.

Short game that takes less than half an hour to finish but can take 20 to 30 runs to even meet the final boss it can be that difficult. Not much of a story but beautiful graphics and sound with super fun gameplay and endless replay ability. Push past that first hour or two and the game starts to click. With some of the later bosses being some of the best boss fights I have ever played in any game. One of my favourite games ever. 10/10. Brilliant.
