The Burlington northern merger was an event that changed the railroad industry during a time where profits were falling and infrastructure maintenance was differed, the BN is no longer around today but it still leaves behind a legacy; But does JRs legacy of the BN 2 live up to it's name? Locomotives and rolling stock: This route comes with 4 Locomotives an SD7 low nose, and SD7 high nose, a GP5, and a Union Pacific GP9. The custom cabs are phenomenal with a degree of grime and dirt. The texturing is very crisp and the weathering on the various different skins is superb as it shows these locomotives have been worn down over their service lives. All locomotives, (except the GP5 which is statically numbered 1365) have automatic running numbers and features like opening doors and beacons. The rolling stock has alot of variety and the models and the textures are superb, theres even kartrak barcodes on the locomotives and cars which were very common in the 70s. some cars have changing skins with various degree of grime and rust which allows even more variety in a consist. The Route: the route is a bit harder to give an opinion on, as some may know there's been updates to the route which are coming at a later date. This makes the current route outdated and some people may be disappointed if they've seen pictures of the updated route and go into this route thinking it will be the same as what they've seen. The route also has the problem of feeling too barren with major yard being in the middle of nowhere with very little around showing that there's a town or city nearby, the feeling works for the in between sections but where the yards are located it kills the experience. Despite this, the route is well done the terrain really does feel like the northwest US; and the gradients will put you to the test as you move heavy freight trains over the line. There's also a segment of abandoned rail showing the regions history and how things have changed. I still reccomend this route even in it's state now both in T:ane and Trs19 (and I'll revise this review once the updates have been released) this route definitely feels like the early BN years on a worn down secondary line. And there isn't many other routes that will give the same feeling. Overall score 8.2/10

Not bad, but the Sawmill session has issues, can't couple the UP GP9s to the consist without a red signal, driver not being automatically assigned, and junction that can't be changed in the way
