I discovered that this route can only be played in free roam only and I play all of mine in career mode so I am requesting a refund .

not worth the price tag. you are getting a half hashed route which is boring to drive. I wasted my time hoping the scenarios might atleast be interesting but no luck there. only buy on discount and even then there are so many other better options. Doncaster works is cheaper and is way more entertaining.

If you buy this, you will receive european/US loco and asset. This is a very small route. It's a circular shape just like a racetrack, with some exits for shunt. Max speed is 40 miles/h. You can go around the route in around 20 minutes at 40 miles/h.

this is one off the oldest route add-ons and the first from All Aboard for railworks. Still it is a nice little route with a toy train like track layout. To sum it up: pro: -nice small route - 11 working scenarios - no unneccesary difficulties con: -only route included, no additionel rolling stock -sometimes small graphic issues with the sky (might be specific to my system) Generally it is a nice add-on for some relaxed driving, and should be well suited to beginners. Is it worth the money (19 euros)? Well, the scenarios give you about 5 h of play time, so 3,80 per hour. Going to the cinema is generally more expensive, so it is ok. Since there are often sales on routes and DLCs in general I would wait for one of those.

The scenarios are available in standard mode, no problem with that. + As far as technology allowed, the route looks fine. Nice custom objects, versatile houses in towns, some overgrowth over rails. However... - The quality of these old assets can be off-putting (two 2D trees in the same place forming the + shape, bushes are also large + shapes, would be okay if they auto-turned like next year's routes). - The coal hoppers are tilting like crazy, even edgy at 15mph at some mainline diversions. Due to this, trains can break and derail. - Some scenarios are puzzling. Going the obvious, proper way? Player train has left the path. Fine, take the path blocked by cars. Then the objective doesn't register, you have to rush through the invalid path. - Single track mainline => not many AI opportunities. Expert authors of these days would find ways (some action in the yards). Also very, very short except that you can keep going around. Limited replay value. At this point, I would suggest a recreation of the route. The potential is there, but it's one of the worst offerings for the price, as is.

This is a very basic and simple route with very basic scenarios. That being said, it is refreshing, at least for me to just sit back and enjoy myself running the locomotive, performing basic tasks. If you are looking for prototypical operations, this is not the route for you, there are many aspects of this that just would not happen on an actual railroad. As mentioned in another review, the map is designed just like a model railroad, but if you're not watching for it, it is easily overlooked. I would purchase this DLC on sale, I personally do not think it is worth $25. Overall, I have enjoyed playing this DLC.
