I really want to like this game, but it simply isn't it. Even on easy mode, this game is absolutely punishing, regularly facing you against enemies much stronger than you, tempting you with upgrades you'll never be able to afford due to the sparse resources, and every time you think you've figured it out, the game will be sure to throw an impossible enemy at you that not only heals faster than your entire fleet can hit it but also follows you when you try to leave. The XP rewards for failure are far too low, meaning you'll be grinding til kingdom come until you can afford some better starting ships. In short, this is a roguelite that requires absolutely no skill and is dominated by the RNG. I'll probably keep punishing myself with the game, but unless it's on sale I can't recommend it.
