Loving the scenery on this route. However I can’t seem to take railfan shots while I’m on it. Whenever I press the camera in the HUD it doesn’t do anything. Anyone else in the same position?

I like the route but, I have a real issue with the BR 155 locomotive. The cotton-pickin' thing keeps activating the emergency brake for reasons unknown. It will say that I'm speeding when I am well below the line speed. Something will trigger the Tap Changer without warning and cause the train to go into emergency. The career scenarios which include the BR 155 are extremely difficult to get through without triggering the emergency brake. While this issue is frustrating, I still feel that the route is worth it if you buy in while on sale. The rest of the scenarios work just fine.

Overall a great route. Just a bit of lag at the beginning. I just completed the Carefree to Bonn scenario and there was an issue with a unmarked speed limit of 60kph about 1 km from Bonn. I was slowing down from 160kph and had to go from 22% braking (Self Lap) to 34% to 50% braking in order to slow down quickly. I got penalised very heavily due to speeding and drive quality but managed to make it out with atleast some XP. Except for this one flaw, I liked the scenario very much. Dev's can you please look into this?

Even in 2021, it's a must have if you like German routes. And unlike most older DTG routes, it's realistically prices. Highly recommended.

Very nice looking scanery. everything made in small retails. Also the PZB and Sifa works great and add to the experience but half of the missions are either extremlly hard to get the achivment or even imposible to get so if you are here for the missions so i don't recomend

A perfect 90 km drive (=47 minutes of driving) where 160 km/h is the maximum speed limit, making it one of the fastest routes available.
One needs to take note near Mehlen-Bonn though, there you have one signal flagging you down from 160 km/h to 50 km/h, with a dangerous switch (in quick drive at least), assuming you take the full length route from Cologne to Koblenz.
A.I trains are perfectly diverse, from diesel freights to dubbeldeck-passenger trains.

I'd recommend picking other things first.
Positives:
- picturesque
- versatile cars (wagons)
- several (Pzb-enabled) trains if you don't have them: 101, 146, 155, 294.
Issues:
- too detailed graphics & too high speed => low fps and stuttering, even in the 64bit version
- the 146 slips at 10-20% dynamic brakes, depending on weather and location; must use F4 HUD and hold it 10% (plus activate dynamics separately in advance - which sometimes doesn't work)
- several 155 consists have insufficient braking effort causing Pzb emergencies
- about half of the 155 scenarios have impossible timetables
- the shunting missions with the 294 expose coupling issues and AI collision
- Pzb implementation has several issues and some tricks, making it nasty to learn; no need to be afraid of the basics, and remember to only SPAD with Pzb Override (Del) being pressed until you cross the signal and the 2000Hz illuminates
- QD routes you into a siding or two.
Part of TS 2016.

"Critical run to Koln" is absolutetly impossible to complete at the scheduled times. PZB system screws your effort up and buries any possibility to make this journey in a reasonable time.
There are different speed limitations through the line according to signalisation, but even when crossing a green-yellow-green signal at 25 km/h, emergency brake activates and you miss several points with that issue. The manuals also don't give a clear and useful information. The explanations are quite tangled.
On the other hand, it's impossible to be at 9:03 in Bonn if you respect the signalisation, and this has a cost of around 800 points, which is absolutely unfair.
Though there are really nice scenarios and not all of them are like this one I am telling you, I wouldn't recommend you this route. It is sure there will be many other correctly programmed routes, and as nice as this one is.
It's up to you, but my humble opinion is that you should try to look for other DLC.

I really recommend this route, althought for some people, it might be a disappointment because this is not a LZB route. And thats why I like it. I was really tired of literally doing nothing and watching the train drive itself. The details are good, FPS are ok (I have low end PC)

This route is simply great! The train is nice and looks like what i looks like in real life. The route is beuatiful along the coast and busy around Colonge/Köln. But there i still a bit things that is bad. You cant go past 20% brake otherwise you loose all your points in the included senarios. 2. The train need more destenation board for senario editors, Such as Bonn-Melhem, Mainz or Wuppertal. Its annoying for senario creators like me that trains cant use proper destenatios according to real life.
But the route is still nice.
