Seriously sexy train with 21st century cab. A pleasure to drive.

The DLCs of this garbage are a joke. How is this even legal?

Not a terrible choice, but I would like to expose the problems with this review. This DLC includes - 2 scenarios for Hamburg-Hannover, which are fine, one is very easy, the other is challenging in a good way, - 3 scenarios for München-Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 2 with annoying and 1 with massively broken timings. Whenever the majority of the train is in view, there is a massive fps drop - use only camera 1 (in-cab), shift-2 (side) and 2 (outside the first car, looking forward), ignore 4. Free view while still at stations is okay I guess. Add to it that - there is massive stuttering on München-Garmisch, - sounds are weird, - downhill braking requires flip-flopping.

I am starting to get annoyed by the sales pages making it hard to find out "what" you are getting. I thought this was a Lok add-on. True. But when it didn't show up in my TS2022 list of Loks, I discovered that this add-on is only for "Three scenarios for the Hamburg-Hanover route:". I feel cheated.

It tilts. Slightly. In-cab camera doesn't tilt, so you're keeping your head perfectly level while the train tilts... Other than that, it looks like an ICE-3, it sounds like an ICE-3, it operates like an ICE-3. If you already have the ICE-3, don't bother with the ICE-T unless you're really keen on the subtle difference. If you don't have the ICE-3, you might as well get the ICE-T. It has AFB and LZB.

This high speed train is definitely fast, very capable of it's purpose. Highly recommend it, a solid 10/10.

A train that says it can only get up to 140mph, but easily gets over that, making it a more fun train than the ICE3 because of the tilting, and great passenger view. The sounds make me sick.

Tilts the wrong way at slow speeds. Literally the whole point of this train is broken. A few lines of code would sort this out, and they've had over 4 years to do it.

There are several errors on this train. When it organized as a double train set, the pantograph of the second set is not raised. Furthermore, AI ICE-T can run without the pantograph raised!! After DTG updated ICE-T, you can see the feature of light configuration. However, the frame rate badly drops when camera is positioned in front of the train. I recommend that you buy this train as long as DTG update or fix these problems.

scenarios for the Hamburg-Hannover line are working fine, but the scenarios for München-Garmisch-Partenkirchen line are broken, they have impossible to achieve time even while going exactly on the speed limit, there are speed limits drops without any sign at all, making it impossible to know about if you haven't failed at least once on the route. This also means that there are achievements that are unobtainable due to the impossible times needed. The titling doesn't work well at all and it's the whole point of this dlc. Avoid this if you are after the completition of the scenarios...
