This pack is very good all around.

it is verry nice and i like that it goes long hood foward not nose foward

This mod would be so much better if it didn't have a loco for every car that you have in your consist.

On sale, it's $3.50... You really can't go wrong at that price.

5/10 the horn gets stuck and does not stop blowing unless you go into the cab and release the horn. other than that engine looks great.

i realy like the opening doors, and windows, liked that u put gauge lites on the gauges.

I really really do like this add-on, although saying that there are a few inaccuracies, The grabs, and step-ends are not the right color, stands could be updated, just to name a few. Still a very good starter kit.

While I'm glad that a high-hood SD45 is in game, and they managed to do all three of the main paint schemes that it wore during it's career (the only livery missing is Guilford Gray and orange), I'm absolutely baffled as to why they chose to put an emphasis on showcasing the Norfolk Southern SD45. Long story short, Norfolk Southern did operate SD45s for a very brief period of time, and four of them DID get painted up for NS, but they were among the locomotive models that Norfolk Southern retired during the early 1980s. They were all gone by 1985, as the fuel crisis during the 80s basically killed any desires to keep them and their GE counterparts, the U33C, in service. So DTG is showcasing an engine that was only service for maybe a year or two before it was retired and put in storage. You know what I would've done? I would've done what they did with the GP9 and the SW, and make an SD45 mega-pack. Bundle these together with the Union Pacific, and add some other common SD45 roadnames to the pack (Santa Fe, Burlington Northern, Wisconsin Central, Southern Pacific, etc.) Yes, I know this pack is ancient, so anything I say here won't really make a difference, but I wanted to pitch my two cents. Overall, a decent addon for how old it is, but it could've been done better. I'd say only get this if you're a die-hard N&W and Southern modeler (and know where you can find a better high-hood SD40 and SD40-2). Otherwise, skip it.

If you like sturdy freight locs with roaring engines then this is the the one to buy! The NS livery is my personal favorite because you can open the windows, stick your head out and enjoy the blasting sound. Even the horn sounds great! The amount of traction will not disappoint you either.
