Makes you love Mecha/Robots even if you dont like them, of course another masterpiece of from software, hoping armored core VII release, and runs well on steam deck but if you go graphic settings high then it will drain your battery very fast, but it is well optimized if you go mid settings still looks good and the fans dont go that crazy, 3 playthroughs and is still fun,

This game might be one of the best at fast paced multi-layered combat. The build crafting is also quite good, simplified enough for everyone to be able to understand. It could be more in depth but i think this gives enough room for creativity, but limits it enough for balancing. As far as the PVP goes, there are definitely still certain builds that over-perform in specific areas, but with the right strategy and focus you can definitely take down those powerhouses. Not to mention the experience of learning more and more thru your sequential playthrus, Honestly 9/10

I’ll start with this: Armored Core 6 is a phenomenal game. The movement is smooth, the combat is intense, and the customization is deep. FromSoftware really nailed the feeling of piloting a high-speed war machine, dashing across the battlefield, dodging missiles, and unloading an arsenal of weapons in a way that feels incredibly fluid and satisfying. The boss fights are brutal but rewarding, pushing you to fine-tune your build and adapt your tactics constantly. That said, this isn’t my kind of mech game. I prefer the slower, more tactical, and methodical combat of MechWarrior, where positioning, heat management, and armor distribution matter more than sheer mobility and reflexes. Armored Core 6 is the opposite: it’s fast, aggressive, and demands quick thinking and high-speed execution. If that’s what you’re looking for, this game delivers in spades. So while it’s not exactly what I personally enjoy in a mech game, I can still wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves fast-paced mech action, deep customization, and challenging combat. It’s a fantastic experience, just one that caters to a different style of mech combat than what I typically enjoy.

Amazing Game 10/10 I went into this game thinking it'd be a fun fast paced mech game where I get to blast things and have fun. I was 100% right. This game is perfect for those who have no idea about the Armoured Core Series, basic fills in everything for you through storytelling, even if you do skip all the dialogue you still have a good idea of whats going on through game dialogue. What I found the best aspect of this game was the customisation. Like Souls-like, Souls-born etc, those usually follow the same formula of gameplay no matter the bulid, basically boiled down to buff-play agressive or otherwise-and dodge. Of course in those games the skill celling can be quite high. What I love though is that AC6 makes you play to how you want. You can be a fast glass cannon, dodging left and right, or a tank carrying the heavy weapons, or a flying gun fortress. All bulids, force you to play a certain and I love it, the best part is that most bulids are perfect if you've made it for youself.

This game inspired me to look back at the older armored core games that I missed. Once I got the hang of it, there was no going back! Give this one a shot, take your time with it, and choose your side for the fate of Rubicon.

One of the few third-person action games that require extensive player knowledge of parts tuning and movement to determine successful gameplay mechanics. Highly recommend this nuanced giant robot fighting game.

Its really important to note that this is NOT a Soulslike - AC6 is very different in mission structure, gameplay, and overall 'feel'. But it sure as hell is a Fromsoft game. Its stunning. Goliath structures, towering machines, obscure dialogue, and a really good campaign that features secret bosses and multiple endings, hidden items, and an overall sense of polish and care that is so characteristic of this developer. I have rarely had this much fun. The game can be hard, really hard, there is a fight that is essentially mecha-Malenia. God I hated that fight. But beating it? The ultimate sense of triumph. Building amazing looking Armored Cores, trying new weapon combinations, hooning across the map dealing death and destruction at will. And then getting your face smashed against the fist of a boss. It's excellent. If you like Fromsoft but want something different, go for it.

Delivers on all level of mech game: 1) Fast responsive intuitive controls to zoom around and blow shit up 2) Neurodivergent level of customization options, almost all crazy builds you can think of are viable in some way 3) You can make a hovering crab mech with 4 miniguns covered int he Maryland state flag 4) Great UI design making it non-intrusive but information dense 5) Anime-ass story 6) Decals 7) A focus on melee combat (if you're cool)
