As a newcomer to the mecha genre, I found AC 6 surprisingly easy to pick up. The controls are intuitive, and the game supports a wide range of playstyles whether you prefer lightweight agility, balanced builds, tanky powerhouses, or a combination of the 3 mentioned. The customization is deep, only limited by weight and energy capacity. The story is self-contained, with well-written characters that emotionally engages me despite their faceless designs. Replayability is strong, with three endings that encourage multiple playthroughs. My main gripe is that the boss design are either underwhelmingly easy to beat or very unfair with overwhelming visuals, bad aimlock in cluttered fights, and classic FromSoftware oneshots, which makes the difficulty feel inconsistent. I can't say anything about PVP as it is likely to be dead since I can't get into a match at all. Looking forward to the next installment to the series!!

Review is after completing the game for the first time have not touch NG+ or NG++* I've heard some old AC fans don't like this game for being too similar to souls systems and mechanics, i played the PS2 ones as a kid but never beat them so i can't say too much on that but speaking as a casual AC fan i enjoy this game and my playthrough. Boss fights are tough but unlike souls as you've probably heard you are encouraged to switch up your builds depending on the mission and persevere. I think some players would actually enjoy the game more with certain mods like seamless coop with a friend if they find the game too challenging or what not so it really comes down to what kind of gamer you are and how you play games. The challenge is there is you want it and i'm sure you can also look online for broken builds to carry you through if you wish. I don't know, maybe i'm biased because i've always liked mech games but i recommend Armored Core 6

Great game but disable eac: Go into game files Rename/Delete "start_protected_game.exe" then make a copy of "armoredcore6.exe" and rename it to "start_protected_game.exe". So basically you have the "armoredcore6.exe" twice but one of then is renamed for eac file. Thnaks Ifrit30

This game is incredibly fun, I really hope that we will get another armored core soon enough. Do not get me wrong, the game tends to be very difficult in certain instances, and some mechanics are really stupid. The gameplay is amazing, the customization could be enhanced but it is fun nonetheless. If you are a fan of AC or a fan of mecha games, this is THE current MECHA GAME that you have to get. The voice acting and story is great and interesting, if you think about it each interaction is really good thought about. Really fun. We are not out of the woods yet, buddy.

Its a faster (and more complicated) Titanfall with no Pilots, if the slow Titans was what made you not like Titanfall you should like this game.

This is closer to being a Gundam game than any Gundam game that exists. High speed combat in a customizable mech with strong PvE and PvP and a non-linear storyline. It is difficult at times, but only because the game is intended to push you to your limits. The game is fun enough that you will welcome the challenge.

I love this game! If you're a fan of mechs or even Gundam, check it out. There’s great customization and fun PvP. This is my first Armored Core game, and I hope they will release AC4FA on Steam soon. or even AC6 DLC.

From Software are already established as high quality output team. This is no exception. When it comes to storyline I have signed myself out of this one. I just could not get engaged there. However, in gameplay this thing shines. Inventory and stats are overwhelming and unintuitive. Finished the game without understanding a thing. Most importantly it is FUN. And that is what game is all about. There are challenging bosses, not gonna lie.

i'll be honest, i always had this thought of every game dev has a golden genre that they exceed in, and FROMSOFTWARE actually changed my mind. this game is not a souls-like, miyazaki is not the lead director of this game, and they still made an absolute banger. one of the most fun combat in any game i have ever played, its really fast and engaging, replay-ability is encouraged with new story paths ,missions, bosses and endings, alternative choices and more gear for your AC. its crazy to think this is not even a big seller of a title for the dev team yet they craft it with love. it has some elements of their experience in souls games, you will notice it when you play, i never played any AC game before so i have no idea if all their AC games has the same thing. it is also the reason why i delayed this game 2 years later cuz i wasn't interested in a Mechs game, i should've trusted FROMSOFTWARE man do they deliver..
