Levels in each of the six worlds are divided into three sections - Normal, Hard, and Hell. The first section should not prove too difficult, but the levels in the latter two require planned set up, often along with dexterous execution. Platforming can be unforgiving - the character has to fit in passageways exactly to not bump his head and scuff the upwards jump, but perhaps this is easier with a controller. The character gets quite a lot of "coyote time" (time in the air after stepping off platforms) for lateral jumps - this has to be kept in mind for Hard and Hell sections, which predictably require knowledgeable use of all the game's mechanics. Unfortunately, there is no "undo/rewind time" button and - if the character died or worked himself into a corner - restarting is the only available option. On the bright side, levels can be quickly restarted with a dedicated key. For each level the game also provides hints to be unlocked in the menu - they show screenshots of correct set up at various stages in the level. With gratuitous use of the provided hints, the game took around 16 hours to complete.

An abundance of levels with a really nice difficulty curve. Charming music. Works perfectly on Steam Deck. Worth the buy.

A surprisingly tricky puzzle action game, where you can record the state of objects in the level, then restore them to their recorded state later. I'm normally not very good at these types of games and get tired of them pretty quickly, but the game lets you pick your difficulty path, which was nice since you can try a hard level, but decide to continue on with the normal levels if you get stuck. It's also nice that once you figure out the trick to a level, you can beat each level in under 10 seconds. Overall a lot of fun!

This is exactly my kind of thing and I love it. The game is a series of 1 screen puzzles played out as a 2D platformer with nice GB Color aesthetics. The twist is the inclusion of a neat 'snapshot' move which allows you to capture where objects are and reset the level to that state using collectable rolls of film found in the level. It's a simple enough concept but can provide the basis for some mind bending solutions. The puzzles range from very easy (to help you learn the mechanics) to some which might take several minutes to figure out (making you feel clever when you do). If you like a nice puzzle platformer with the emphasis placed firmly on puzzle then this is well worth checking out. It deserves a bigger audience.

A great single-screen puzzle-platformer with some very good level design which gets a lot of mileage out of simple mechanics. There is a hint system you can spend in-game currency on to unlock screenshots of part-way states towards a solution. This works nicely to let you choose how much you want to spoil - mostly the first couple of hints only confirmed what I already expected but that confirmation was enough that I was able to go on and complete the level. The softly coloured pixel art was charming too!
