DON'T OPEN THE SPOILER TEXT UNTIL YAH FINISHED PLAYING EP 3
All I have to say is...
I FRICKING KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I hope my review makes you curious enough to give this game a chance---> BUT START WITH EP 1 AND 2, OBVIOUSLY!
As someone with this disorder, I could see all the signs, I ESPECIALLY recognised what they were doing by capitalising the word "did". I am not going to lie, when it all came to light, I dissociated LOTS; I reflected a lot on the fact that Wizard is like my alter who is deemed the "protector" of the system. I also remembered the relationship I was in where someone took advantage of my disorder; that being said, I am not very fond of the real Yurika Arisu. Overall, it's an emotional roller coaster for me, personally; this game hit me hard as someone who understands it ALL TOO WELL! If I had to pick a game which presented me (or perhaps I mean us -w-), this is it. I picked this game because I love the concept of gender-swapped fairy tale characters, but also the tag "psychological horror" obviously intrigued me given how innocent the game looks---I didn't choose this game specifically for this reason, I went in blind, I was naturally drawn to the visuals, concept and mystery... Anywho, sorry this isn't much of a review, it's more of a personal note from someone who recognises what the creator was doing and might I say, they did it well.
Continuing on with the 2nd episode in a darker tone. Things get a bit more complicated from here with more info on the overall story arch. Would not recommend starting with this episode if you haven't played the others. As with the others, amazing writing and voice acting. Its giving Norman Bates vibez
