The game has a lot of potentiel, but as of 21/06/2025 it is garbage, and i do not recommend buying for the asking price or sales price.
So what is wrong with the game?
* Gameplay
1. Attacks.
2. Dodge.
3. Sprint.
4. Sound/Music.
5. Switch enemy.
So when one decides to "toggle" sprint (Since for some reason one can't get the choice to hold) they will of course be speeding up, but for some reason when you jump and land your hero stops sprinting, which is annoying, on top of that when one moves the mouse around it almost feels like the game has motion smoothing or mouse smoothing.
When one attacks and enemy there isn't any grand feeling of getting hits in or sounds, combo that with the lag of a story (Since the story is text based and not voice over) it just makes for a horrible experience.
The biggest issue for me is the fact that the enemy lock on system won't let me switch to another target if i move my mouse to the next one, instead i constantly have to press to switch, which ain't how For Honor manages their combat system.
* Story
1. None.
There is basiacally none. There is next to none voice over in the game and instead one has to constantly read text, which is fine for a book, but not for a digital game.
* Graphics
1. No RTX.
2. No DLSS.
The game overall looks fine, but for an open world it's very disappointing.

Initially hesitant to get the game. waited for a sale and I must say its a pretty fun game. It does have lots of flaws and its a little jank to play but the base combat is pretty fun, parries feel good for the most part. I wish the grappling hook was designed a bit better, feels a bit of an after thought. I also wish the map felt more dynamic, i have noticed any significant difference on a fresh run aside from the side quest location destination changing. Fun but would wait for a sale. cheers

A Rouge like with an open world.
I felt like the DEVs were very honest about what they were trying to do and worked hard thru the whole early access process responding to the concerns brought up.
Is it the best thing ever... no.
Did I have a blast exploring the world and doing fun builds to work on enemies and bosses... absolutely!!
if you go into it with the right expectations, this game is great, I had enough fun, I may try to 100% it!
