the game has predatory cash shop where the 7 day premium costs 350 currency, but you only get 300 currency when you want to buy currency to pay for it. Then there's the 30 day premium that costs 1200 currency but you can only buy 1000 currency.
The game is full of skills that only active/passive skills up to lvl 20-40, even though the skill line goes up to lvl 80.
The grind is very very slow and the reward for spending that much time is not really worth it to be honest.
It feels like the game copied Ultima Online and Runescape without really knowing what made the games good, so instead we get a bloated crafting system where some recipes require you to gather so many different item types you've forgotten what you were crafting by the time you've picked out the items from your storage.
At first glance it looks like you can play the game however you like, but you'll soon realise that you're forced to kill mobs, invest in ranged weapon skills to take out all the fleeing mobs, carry different types of food, fight the anti-bot critters that have a chance to spawn whenever you gather a resource (does not feel good getting smacked to death by a squirrel because it got 2 lucky hits in a row in a few seconds... when all you really wanted was to chop a tree or gather some worms).
You're constantly fighting a full inventory and the game expects you to save everything because it gives you 0 money for the majority of the things you find.
I felt like i was playing inventory-tetris more than actually playing the game.
Thats just the game! Then comes the playerbase that will insult you in russian (happened multiple times on the EU PVE server after i said: "Hi All" in global chat. On a positive note, the devs appear to be muting people if they act out of line, so theres that )
The game goes for a player based economy, but the issue is that a player will not get access to the Auction House until at least 20-40 hours into the game due to the cost and item requirement, depending on how well you understand how to play and earn money.
Then there's the ping, i am connecting from europe, the EU PVE server frequently bounces from 150-200 ping up to 400-500 ping (mix that with the afforementioned spawning outta nowhere squirrel that can kill you in a few hits... thats just not great with bad ping)
The devs dont appear to be very responsive on their discord and it seems that it is a challenge for them to speak english, or least fully express themselves in english.
Its a shame, because the world could do with more mmorpgs of this type, but if it can barely run a pve server with less 300-400 players online without heavy lag, but then ask 299-399 USD for cash shop packs, then something is wrong and im out!

This is a 'soft' no, as it may be attractive to some. The inability to see more than my immediate surroundings is a major turn-off, and why I'll probably not play it long. Scrolling out does not increase the view appreciably. I need to see what is in the distance.

Great game similar to UO, open world, sandbox, grind, with deep crafting and lots of skills.
