Cool little EA game. Pretty addictive I must admit - which is a good thing. Trying different builds, finding secrets, completing prophecies, unlocking new characters to play. Everything keeps me invested and wanting more.
I have already brought my friend here and he shares my positive view on this title. Every boss is a struggle, but then you know how to overcome it and get more powerful (through some customization and prophecies), everything becomes a bit easier.
I played the demo to the fullest, then decided to buy the game to help developers, because the game is such a good mix of roguelike and soulslike, which I adore. I recommend it :)
Overall I have played 40+ hours of Heretical and still have not unlocked everything. And taking into account the ammount of content, that will be added - this game is a guaranteed "must stream" on every gaming, indie youtube channel next year.
