Does a great job of capturing what makes Fromsoft games great while still being true to the roguelite genre. Really love the level design and lore. Characters and builds feel distinct. 10/10 Really hoping we get tons of content from these devs.

If this game's on sale and you like diablo/survivors/dark souls, I highly recommend. At least 7/10 but needs more content being early access and all. Really looking forward to the roadmap updates.
Remember halls of torment and how they said it was diablo + survivors? That statement is more accurate for this game plus a clear dark souls inspiration. That game had item slots but they were fixed stats like unique items only. No rarity system and random stats. But this game? Items from common to unique, random stats up to rare and obviously unique items don't change but rather scale with some of your stats or character level so they never become useless.
Unlocking new abilities/uniques was also pretty fast. Achievements are called prophecies in this game. The way it's presented feels more than just a system of unlocking stuff through fulfilling them, although that's literally it. I don't know how to really explain it. It just feels good.
Level design and other aspects are very souls-like in theme but not so much the hardcore difficulty. It's very apparent when playing but not in a bad way. Little shortcuts as you progress the game but spawn in the same hub area. Has some mechanics like autocasting abilities and triggering abilities similar to the survivor series but requires player input to select the enemy to attack, always hitting the closest enemy won't get you that far in the game. 2 weapon sets, one for 1h/offhand and another for any 2 handers (GS/staff/bow). Adds a little mixup in the combat, especially during bossfights.
Very minor gripe is the camera, some parts (mainly indoor stairs) are really hard to see with the roof/walls not fading correctly, and some places the camera puts a building covering 30% of it. I think it's just got something to do with triggers because I feel like it just changes a little too early so it blocks too much vision. Also IMO ranged is much weaker than melee once you learn the game. Their only weakness is attack range being a little too short for the swords and requires frost shield for any melee build to be viable. Every single 2h weapon is too slow too, or at least it's too slow compared to enemies.

For the record, this game is great. But I'm here because I wanted to throw out a big PSA: Don't! touch the rosebush (thorn thing) unless you have a lot of healing. Otherwise you'll ruin your run like i just did. That thing did 5hp ticks/ second permanently. Might have been even more, either way, it killed me quickly and I had a great build going. 35 minutes down the drain, I'm kinda pissed that there's not an explicit warning about what it does because IT WILL ruin most runs.
That said the game is great. I've enjoyed all the unlocks and am honestly surprised how much content there is. It started off rough, but once you start unlocking stuff you'll get stronger and stronger. Pretty much endless replayability and the game isn't even finished yet, nor have I unlocked all the areas, abilities, and skills. As soon as I think I've found everything there's something new and interesting.
Highly recommended if you like roguelites. I've never even been a big roguelite person, but this one is so good. My only gripe would be the difficulty. It's extremely tough even after figuring out what works and what doesn't. Could just be bad at the game, but yeah I've died many many many times. Even full tank builds can get killed in an instant once you reach a new stage with stronger enemies.

Alright, I can strongly recommend this game after playing almost 50 hours. I enjoyed the style and aesthetics of dark fantasy. The fast-paced and varied gameplay is great. Constellations reminded me of Grim Dawn, and I think they could be further developed to make them even more interesting. Very diverse skills make each build unique.
It's fun at the beginning to explore the map, discover hidden passages and secret rooms.
I believe it would be worth adding at least 2-3 more heroes, a few new skills, about ten unique items, several new biomes, and probably one additional boss for each biome. With such an amount of content, the game could be considered ready for full price release. After that, work on balance and bugs will remain.
The only downside I highlight is the current balance—it's challenging in the beginning but becomes too easy towards the end. Once you've unlocked all classes, prophecies, constellations, and unique items, you can completely clear the entire map within 15 minutes.
There are also some spots on the map where your character gets stuck and can't escape—but there's always an 'Unstuck' button in the menu to help out.
Overall, developers are moving in the right direction. Please keep developing the game and don't abandon it!

Play it! It's worth it! Why?
* it like dark souls - bad animations, no guids in game, gloom world, poor camera positioning, you can die anytime from
anyone.
* Great challenge system, Prophecies it core progression system in game, it fun, Interesting, some time easy, some time
hard as hell.
* Characters skill system good - you can make builds, thx to Prophecies. The icing on the cake for you will be that there is
a ton of OP builds. Try it!

Its like if you stuck a Fall Guy into Dark souls.
This game is actually pretty good. Its right up there in my "Worth a wait" list. Stoneshard, Kenshi 2, SCP 5k, and this game give you this feeling of greatness thats just out of reach, and I think this game will also inspire a lot of clones if it takes off in any meaningful way. Support this dev, in the hopes that someone tries to compete because I think this game will go places.

Cool mix of roguelite/dark souls/bullethell/diablo genres.
dodge rolling red circles and killing enemies for loot+skills -> use levers to open shortcuts -> die -> paths are open permanently -> die -> upgrade minor skills like more hp node -> repeat -> die to silly boss -> repeat
Sadly for early access it took me 4hours to finish current content/killing last boss on the huge map.
the map isnt randomized, you kinda get used to it what to do and where to go, just like dark souls corpse runs.
Hopefully this game gets more popular and even more content.

If you like Diablo 4, Rogue-likes, and figuring out synergies to become OP as Hell. You will enjoy this game. The prophecy system, is the best way I've seen achievements done ever. Kudos to the development team. Looking forward to full game. Currently the Power resides with Bow builds, then Melee, then Magic. Elemental needs some buffs. Great game. Buy it.
