Wow, the ending was underwhelming to say the least.
Procedurally generated world, as vast as an ocean and as shallow as a puddle.
Levelling up is almost meaningless since the whole world levels up along you.
If I stab someone in the heart I expect him to die, not to survive because he went to the gym and got better stats.
So many grindy RPG mechanics tacked on to sell you the "time savers" and BIS gear.
Don't feel like an assassin when you just chain spear kills to teleport and clear stupid camp number 6904.
And yeah, story is filled with meaningless padding with some historical figures tacked on to somehow keep you engaged. I got fed up to be constantly forced to engage in 3 branching subquests until I was finally allowed to progress in the main story. But in the end, it didn't even matter because the ending in laughably rushed and shallow, without any build up, tension, or climax.
If you value your hard earned money, time and effort, go play Expedition 33, mon ami.
