Great roguelite with melee mechanics similar to Dark & Darker where the player has to look at the direction the attack is coming from to block all damage. Death is not permanent but you lose a bit if exp and stats each time you die. This is not as harsh as it sounds because you can transfer items to your next attempt so you can one shot the early levels easily and permalearn cool skills like damage reflect. Nonetheless this game has its downsides too. See below for more details Pro's: * Unique hand drawn art style with cool looking assets * Melee mechanics with more depth than Skyrim (which is just a glorified whack-a-mole anyways) * Hidden mechanics with food items and wand recharges * Secrets in almost every level. Keep your eyes open Con's: * The keyboard mapping is missing. Would be nice to have that in the menu. I forgot how to switch to the wand and had to try various buttons * A little bit on the clunky side but once you get faster weapons combat feels more fluid All in all a very creative roguelite with hand drawn assets and a little bit of humor. Just check out the posters the goblins are lusting at. I'd give this game a solid 7.5/10 for roguelite lovers. Price is low even when the game is not on sale so just try it. Oh, and this game is made by a solo dev.
