I've played the first game and loved it. This one takes what made the first one great and ramps it up with replayability. There are several episodes to unlock and different characters to play as.
The balancing is superb. On casual one can brute-force through the stages and bosses but on veteran and legend, it becomes a whole other story.
Overall: If you like Castlevania and liked the first Curse of the Moon, give it a shot.

This is a great sequel which has even more references to older Konami games (Gradius)! The new characters are awesome, the stages are put together very well, the bosses are huge and once again, the soundtrack kicks ass.
The increased difficulty everyone is talking about is not THAT harsh, at least not so far as I haven't completed the game yet. Of course I raged multiple times already, but, come on! It's excactly what I expect from a game like this.
I highly recommend it and I hope Iga is going to create more sequels in the future.
And now...back to the game...

Tolles Spiel, das sich gut vor den Vorbildern "Castlevania 1&3" verneigt.
Jedoch schlechter als Teil 1, da die Charaktere und Bosse nicht mehr so gut ins klassische Vampirjägersetting von Castlevania passen.
