Better than Lords Of The Fallen (2023).

i dont know what i should think about this game, need to paly a bit more. at least i can say it feels pretty well, and its a lot of love in it !

Back to Ashes is clearly the most atmospheric Souls-like I've ever played and a must for everyone who likes Dark Souls. The combat system is really good and smoothly! I like the creative art design of the characters and the locations. magic effects and Sparks are very beautifull and the Sound Track is great. I really love this Game!!! :)

I followed the development since 2 years and am happy to see that it's finally published. Props to the dev(s). You did a really good job. The game feeling is super eery. It's even darker than Dark Souls. Gameplay is fine. Sometimes it feels like attacking could be a little bit faster.

Terrible controls, ancient graphics, no tutorial. That's a no.

WOW - bin jetzt schon positiv überrascht was man geboten bekommt. Habe zwar derzeit noch Probleme mit meiner "Wegfindung" -suche gerade das Rebellen Lager in den Ruinen- aber ich freue mich schon auf das fertige Spiel, denn es steckt echt viel Potenzial bis jetzt schon darin. BIG UP to the Team behind the scene - nice work :)

I'm not done with this game yet! BUT this is mostly a one man project and it is fantastic. For Real. It's a Demon Souls by a single person. Yes so far you don't have as many ways to play this game, so not as with different builds as in other Souls games, but the gameplay, the graphics, everything is a pure nostalgia bomb of the first Souls game. Lots of different enemies, (including enemies that like in Dark Souls just always jump backwards when you want to hit them... damn). Really great and interesting bosses with their own gimmicks. The LevelUp system and skill system but differs from Souls ... But i like it. I haven't figured out how the spellcasting works yet, but think it will be classic OP. The purchase is worth it as a Souls fan! Feedback for the developer: The first level, the prison, is really horrible from the level design. You constantly get lost and don't know what to do or where to go. Because of the living and ash version of the level, you get very confused very quickly. The levels after that are a bit clearer

Einfach ein tolles Spiel. Ganz besonders für Dark Souls Fans... (außer das Du deinen Charakter nicht Individualisieren kannst) Allerdings muss man die Steuerung/Tastenkombi etwas umstellen. Es lässt sich auch gut ohne Gamepad spielen. Das Spiel hat seinen eigenen Charme und seinen eigenen Sog... Ich habe sehr lange einen Titel gesucht der wirklich nah an Dark Souls ist und ich muss sagen ich bin sowas von begeistert... Ich wollte eigentlich mal nur kurz in das Game hineinschauen und zack 3 Stunden sind rum und wenn es nicht schon so spät wäre würde ich weiter zocken... Für das kleine Geld bekommt ihr durchaus eine Menge geboten. Ich bin jedenfalls rundum glücklich das ich nach langem überlegen doch zugeschlagen habe... Jeder der Dark Souls mag... jeder der diesen Nervenkitzel liebt und am Ende eines anspruchsvollen Kampfes, mit einem fetten Grinsen siegreich einen wirklich fordernden Boss, sowie Gegner erlegt hat.,,, Ja jeder der genau das Feeling mag sollte zuschlagen... Jeder der wenig Frustresistenz hat sollte davon die Finger lassen. Und jeder der diesen Kick liebt wird mit dem Spiel rundum glücklich sein... Ich bin gespannt was mich noch so erwartet... Ich wünsche allen viel Spaß mit dem Spiel und vielen Dank an die Entwickler.... Ihr seid super :)

After over 2 years i gave this game again a shot. And i must say, bravo. Its nice to play and very cool to look at. A big compliment from my side:) Keep up the good work!
