Time well wasted haha.

It is a bit short, but has a beautiful art style, nice soundtrack and sound design and a simple yet cool gameplay. I just wish the ranged weapons could feel more different from one another, all 3 of them feel kind of the same to use with the charge attack.

This is a "probably not worth your time, but if it's under $5 and you are bored it might be ok for some time. Half my hours are afk. It's not a terrible game, but for $25 I would feel extremely ripped off; consider you can buy games in similar genre like Hades for that price. This game has a PLETHORA of bugs/issues (monsters half following you between screens and becoming inactive but attackable for example), and many questionable design choices (such as having an extremely large world that is not at all dangerous to traverse but no fast travel so you end up running effectively pointlessly for minutes to do what you actually wanna do EVERY run). While it is *INITIALLY* fun, it is *extremely* repetitive and the economic system of the game is basically a grind for the sake of grinding--for example, you find an item to...disassemble it just so you can remake it after you pay for it??? Or, you upgrade your weapon to do more damage and now it gives you less energy back for your specials because you kill things quicker (mind you, the wrench-hammer charge up doesn't even give you energy at all even though it's much higher risk)??? Difficulty is nonexistant, and for whatever reason you are forced to clear the game to play the hardest difficulty, which means I'm never playing it because there is zero replay value at all. Most things you find are basically never used because they're worthless. I was considering finishing this game because it was so short, but the boss fights are a fucking slog (literally just run around for 10s, hit boss 1-5 times, repeat zzzz) and I have 0 desire to farm just to get damage upgrades so I can beat the bosses in a reasonable amount of time. Got to the final boss and noped out because I had one damage upgrade and it took 5min to take his HP bar down because you rarely get to hit him. Oh, and this is a great time to mention how shit the animations are -- you get hit before they even happen! But seriously: DO NOT BUY THIS GAME OUTSIDE OF A SUPER DEEP DISCOUNT, and honestly even then save your money. I paid $3.74, and I wouldn't pay more than $5 for this--honestly I kinda wish I had refunded it during the window. The OST is nothing to write home about, the art design is okay, I guess, and the gameplay is mediocre AT BEST. I regret buying two copies, one for me and one for my husband, thinking it would be a decent time.

The game is fine, it delivers. When you're about 75% through the game, you're already tired of all the repetition. One game lasted an hour and a half; it feels too long to have to repeat so much (and obviously, you can't save in the middle of a game). On sale, and for very casual play, it's fine.
