Piece of art. It's definitely one of my top 3 favorites. Very well made game. It has the creepy factor and scary factor, both of being chased but also the fear of getting caught. Puzzles are not hard to understand, collectibles are not impossible to find, although i did look them up on the internet in order to have 100% completion of the game. It's great.

It's a great game and objectively better than it's predecessor. It maintains the essence of Little Nightmares while adding new mechanics. That eerie feeling when yo're exploring the different places and scenarios and the sensation of being at mercy of a bigger world full of giant, creepy threats... Nice.

Little Nightmares II is still a good time, but it's missing the spine-chilling charm of the first game. The puzzles and locations start feeling like déjà vu—like wandering around a spooky house you've already been in. Even the creepy vibes that made the original stand out now feel a bit like reheated leftovers: tasty, but not as fresh. Visually, it's still cool, but it doesn't quite hit that detailed, nightmare-fuel perfection of the first game. The environments are nice enough but don't suck you in quite as deeply. Those terrifying creatures that once made you jump now seem like old friends—scary, ugly friends you've already met. And while the new enemies are pretty neat, let's be honest: none come close to those unforgettable, nightmare-inducing Cooks.

This game is fantastic. Moral of the story: Don't brainrot with Instagram reels too much or else the Hat Man will take over the world. My biggest gripe with this game was the movement which I found to be super wonky and pretty frustrating at times. I think the developers could also improve the 2D/3D-hybrid platforming in the next game, it added to the chunkiness and frustration combined with the controls. Also, fuck that last elevator puzzle with the TV's.

This is legit one of my favourite games. If you liked the original, this one builds upon and improves upon that one - visually it's stunning, and the story, and lore, for me, is gripping. Definitely heavy liminal space vibes, that feels like you're in a dream.

This is not just a sequel, it’s a massive upgrade from the first game in every way. The world is more immersive, the tension is higher, and the storytelling is even more captivating. It takes everything that made the first game great and elevates it into a masterpiece. From the moment you step into the game, it grips you with its stunning atmosphere and incredible art direction. Every environment is meticulously crafted, seamlessly blending beauty and horror. The attention to detail in lighting, sound design, and animation makes every moment epic. The story is deeply impactful, filled with mystery and symbolism that keeps you thinking long after each chapter. It masterfully builds on the first game’s lore, delivering shocking moments and emotional depth that few games achieve. This is truly one of, if not the best, indie game ever made.

Little Nightmares 2 is a very good and atmospheric story. Just like the first game, the sequel does not disappoint! Instead the mystery only grows and we can't wait for part 3 to come out and be just as decent! (please Tarsier Studios, don't FK this up) LN 2 is a very beautiful and short game. 5 chapters for 5 hours (not counting achievement hunting). No additional DLC content and I remember a delay at release. (which makes me very concerned for Little Nightmares 3 as it got delayed too..) I highly enjoyed the story, graphics, music and sound, but I had some issues with the gameplay and performance. The game is much larger than the 1st part, and technically more demanding. While I only encountered only a few minor bugs, the rare stuttering lag was annoying and I believe could have been patched out. The gameplay part that concerned me was the combat and little leeway high precision movement and sequence requirements. 1) The combat was clunky and even playing with controller was frustrating as enemies would swarm you (hospital!). Typically units are following a script to avoid locking the player down, in this game each unit is free to act out their programming, despite it putting you in an unfair dead-end situation where you are checkmated. It becomes an RNG game as progress depends on luck and favorable positioning. I hate that. 2) The reason I dislike the horror genre is that everything is scripted and failing a sequence forces you to replay the same learned sequence over and over. It is not scary anymore and becomes a frustrating Groundhog Day situation. So it does not help if the game demands high precision with weak controls and gives little leeway to make up mistakes. It adds to the horror stress yes, but even when not fumbling in panic on your 34th try of a sequence, the game won't let you pass. No worries, just DIE and TRY again right? Wrong, that only accentuates the issue with repeating scripted sequences. Weaknesses of the genre should be covered, not played into. Despite its few forgivable flaws, LN2 is actually one of the best stories and games ever made. An amazing work of art! Love to the artists! To the devs, work harder on LN3 !!! Highly recommended! Would get Rachel'd like in Tower of God again.

This game is fun. Horror puzzle is not very common this days. Just as the first one, this game rises more questions than answers, but nonetheless is worth trying. 10/10 Runs extremely well on Steam Deck OLED
