One of the best games I've played with negative reviews on here. It's short, repetitive and has too much dialogue (which can be skipped for fairly minimal impact, thankfully), and the base price is a little too high, BUT if it's on sale for <$10, I'd say it's worth it. I suspect a big reason for many of the negative reviews is that people didn't know about the "chase" mechanic: basically, when you put an enemy into a "knockdown" state, but before they actually hit the ground, you can press the "Jump" button to have your character charge after them or straight up teleport to rack up some extra damage. If timed correctly, you can string several of these attacks together, which I found really satisfying.
I will say that I overall agree with most if not all of the criticisms I've seen in the reviews. I guess I just wasn't as bothered with the game's flaws. If you're expecting an RCR game (given that that's in the title, I think that's pretty reasonable), you're gonna feel let down. There's no RPG elements, no grabs, and the Sci-Fi elements feel inappropriate and unnecessary. If you're willing to meet the game half-way, and accept it for what it is and not for what it technically should be (meaning an RCR/Kunio game), you'll have a better shot at enjoying it, I feel.
