It feels like Dark Soul turned into a turn based game.
No normal healing concept, and skills took a sweet percentage of health. Healing is done through sacrificing other character with same level, and getting stronger is also done by the same method.
Background story seems too vague. Goals are the same. Battles are meh. Grinding ? bah.
Simply not my cup of tea.

I really enjoyed the game and got 100% completion.
The vocal tracks are phenomenal, I just wish there were more

I feel like the 'rogue-lite' part was a bit forced and killed it for me.
The gameplay and battles were fun for the first few hours, but then it was just repetitive trying to crawl to bosses.

Classic example of style over substance, but damn, that style is sublime. SUCH a cool aesthetic, and action to match... until it runs out.. and you find yourself replaying the exact same maps... and hitting a wall when you lose a character and the missions then become too hard to build up a lesser one... meaning you have to replay earlier missions all over again, made even more annoying as you already replayed them due to the maps repeating..a vicious cycle that unfortunately, put me off going any further. Shame, as it was fun while it lasted. The chain reactions and combos will have you feeling like a God.
As much as it annoyed the hell out of me, I'd still say check it out. Just don't expect the fun to last forever.

I don't get it.
There's very little variety/customization, so even after an hour the game started feeling repetitive. The art and the tone are really cool, but the story was too abstract for me to get hooked on for my brief playtime.
The one thing I really didn't like about it was the way healing works in the game. To heal one of your "daughters", you actually have to sacrifice another one. This is kind of a major theme/mechanical part of the game, but it makes it impossible to feel attached to any of the characters you're playing with, which in turn reduces the immersion further.
I don't think this is a bad game, but it wasn't very exciting for me.

A short & memorable experience. This title sports simple, yet engaging gameplay & strong replayability. Brought together with beautiful art, story & music which takes careful focus on its stylization.

From the aesthetics to the turn based gameplay this game is fantastic. Brutal and challenging but that adds to the charm

Loving the game so far, its fun and hard. little of a learning curve but not so bad you want to stop. just beat the first boss. A lot left to do! one of a kind game mixing turn based with rogue like. hard to find something this one of a kind. great music also as you play.
