I'm not satisfied with the quality of the product. Bad sounds, low resolution on textures in the cab and the loco physics seems rushed.

Luckily I obtained this as part of the Chinese bundle so cost me the equivalent of about £4.50
On the plus side it is nice to have a Chinese route in TSC. However the route quality is a little lacking, everything seems a bit lo-res, the buildings etc. The rails have a weird shine and sheen reflecting off them looks more like Peco track than a representation of the prototype.
Only one electric loco included and I recommend doing the tutorial as you do have to run a start up procedure to get going. As others have commented, both the throttle and dynamic brakes are very jerky and snatchy as you notch up and down. If you get within 5 km/h of the maximum line speed you start getting a voice shouting a garbled message in Chinese, so basically you cannot run at line speed.
The usual handful of scenarios with a mixture of passenger and freight are supplied.

Sorry to say though it was great to start of with then got to the 5 red bar (difficult) CS 75mins long and thought yeah! difficult to a degree! Then completed it with out any error mistakes "Well done you've completed!" Ra Ra Ra! Does not register I.E. NO 1000 XP and a Gold star! may be an update but for £24.99 come on DTG! 6x Career Scenarios and one at the moment I find don't properly REGISTER! Shame! sort it out! Test it before you release it! if this will be fixed i would recommend it but as it stands at the momment starting to question DTG overall!

Extremely buggy! Cannot recommend it.
Locomotives kick like mules when you accelerate/decelerate. Never heard of such a thing in real life. When you decouple the cars off a train, after decoupling, when you accelerate to leave, the locomotive will kick back and forth and couple back to the train even with auto coupling disabled, resulting in not one but two operational errors.
Headlights are terrible. They make colors up front look like other colors. Worst of all, they make red signals look like yellow signals. I've passed a red signal more than once because of this.
Scenario [HXD1] Heavy freight service and passenger train rescue will give you 0 XP no matter how many times you finish it with a top score.
Saving and loading? Don't even think about it! Loading a saved game will disable in cab signalling, making for a very unpleasant and rough driving experience.
DTG has managed to properly mess up this route.
It's a shame too, because this route had real potential to be a good one.
The scenery looks good. The railroad infrastructure is really nice. Signalling is very interesting (love the blue ground signals). The scenarios would be really good if not so buggy.

First the locomotives they are very good driving inside and out very good sound,Next the rolling stock the sound is amazing when the train goes by you from the out side.Next the route if you want to call it that fasten your seat belts its a roller coaster.Almost right from the get go there are huge up hill and down grades so stay alert there is no time to relax.As for the look of it not bad there are more buildings then the China high speed routes I know because I have them to and there is a ton of AI traffic even in quick drive.Overall I give the scenery 7 of 10 and no way anyone will be bored with this you're in for one wild ride.

Nice start as the first Chinese normal-speed route DLC. But some details are poorly made and need improvement. If you are a fan of Chinese railway, I would recommend the HXD3D marketplace, which is highly detailed.
好的开始嘛，毕竟是第一条中国普速线路。但是总体来讲制作的还是有点粗糙的，希望以后出的线路能改进。如果你是车迷的话我还是推荐HXD3D，虽然没有任务但是做得比较精致。
Pros:
1. Functional in-cab voice system, though non-Chinese players might have difficulty in understanding the language.
2. Functional status screen, in-cab signaling and LKJ monitoring, though not realistic.
3. Locomotive manual starting procedure.
4. These AC locomotives are super powerful. They can easily start 3000+ tons without wheelslip.
5. Exterior of the rolling stocks are well modelled.
6. Quite long route, good scenary, large number of stations and challenging grades.
Cons:
1. Bad horn sound.
2. All scenarios have too challenging timetables. At least make some of them easier please.
3. In reality, the passenger trains should have 120 km/h speed, not 100. Too slow.
4. The air brakes are really horrible. The Knorr auto brake should be notched, and when in full service or suppression the BP reduction should be 1.7 bar. However in game, it's hard to stop the train in place even having 2 bar reduction. Also, no gauges for eq. reservior or main reservior.
5. The semi-cruise throttle makes violent coupler collision due to its large tractive force. You can't get to a higher speed unless you set the throttle to high position.
6. The route is too "clean" and too color-saturated. We need more realistic route view.

As a Chinese I am very happy to see a “real” Chinese route coming out to this game. Personally I am not a fan of bullet train as it, from my point of view, is not a “train”. This add-on really helps to pave a path for the Chinese route in the future.
That being said, however, the route... can be better. I mean, the sound of locos are too loud, and the scenes... can be more detailed. To be honest, this part of Longhai Railroad is not scenic. There are so many more sections on this long route, not to mention other routes in Southwestern China, that are more beautiful and sometimes just breath-taking.
Another point, probably it’s just me, but I don’t really like the noisy passenger platform... I know that the developer want it to be more immersive, but from what I preceived, it goes the opposite way...
I would gladly give it a neutral if there is one such option, but sadly enough, there isn’t, so I may just give this a thumbs down. Hope it will be better next time.
怎么说呢，期待这条线路还是很久了！第一条在steam上的非子弹头的线路（成渝那个感觉不能算啦……😂）下下来开了一会儿，车辆模型做得不错，操作也还算是真实，但是个人不是很喜欢车头和车厢的声音，，车头声音太大，而车厢的声音………现在陇海线应该已经换无缝轨道了吧……… 布景还不错，但有些地方还可以提高。比较明显的是在三门峡西去阳店方向，快到阳店的时候……车子左边那几个大水坑是咋回事Orz 是水库吗？= =
好吧我承认作为西南人民我有偏见了，下次做线路的话，可以选择襄渝铁路宝成铁路成昆铁路湘黔铁路或者老川黔铁路（不是渝黔客专那条地铁谢谢）那么多美丽又壮观的铁路！
不管怎么样，希望中国化越来越好。这里暂时先给差评啦，抱歉。

Recommended for anyone who likes modern, heavy freight trains! The loco's are powerful yet easy to drive; the throttle system is much like the one on the GE 4-4 iii Rhb (Albula Line), but still there's enough work to do for the driver as he has to compensate for steep gradients, which isn't hard to do as the dynamic brakes are exemplary.
In-cab information is very good and for those who didn't pay attention in Chinese class, don't worry, there are no spoken messages(!) Loco sounds are very civilized.
Top speeds on the line are 85/105 km/h and the route is diversified, as is the landscape.
The only 'flaw' I could find is the missing visibility of the headlights on the loco's, but the projection is okay.
