It's a nice model, very detailed, however there are some lighting flickering during night at some assets (buildings). Level crossing sounds like a siren, and can be extremely annoying if you stay close to one for some time. Some electrict trains are like bullets on start, reaching 35kph quickly, with the speed lever still in the second position (in realistic drive mode). This looks wrong, and after several trials I've concluded this DLC is meant to be played on Easy Mode. It has less crashes and some session timings are impossible to be reached on realistic drive mode. There are 5 sessions, although only four are really playable (not including the free drive one). This is because the fifth session is just a walk around, taking control of pedestrians, or riding along with AI trains. Session one, for freight and emergency work is really nice, but it's also a FUBAR. When the game says "junctions will be controled for you" xD, don't make me laugh, you got to keep controling yourself, otherwise god knows where you will end up. Some times junctions will go crazy, shifting quickly from one path to another. Man, all kinds of things happened to me in this session. This session will try your patience, skills and creativity more than any other session I've played so far. There is no way I can even try to write a guide about how to finish this session with five stars, giving the amount of tricks I had to use along the way. Overall, the major problem of this route is still due to loading saved games not working properly. If the game crashes you got to reload, or if you make a mistake, you got to reaload, however loading a saved game will result in breaking the session in almost 100% of the time. Junctions are not released from AI, or session markers/objectives get lost, or other issues will happen. If you bought this DLC, your best chance to complete sessions is to go on Easy Mode and play it through without reloading, with junctions overlay turned on. Good luck! If you haven't bought this DLC, you are not losing anything. Stay way from it. Keep in mind I've bough several DLC's at very low price, and I'm taking the time to play and review them to try to give some insight to players, so you can save your money :) Below is my review for the main game. It's long, but fast read and has very relevant information: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198033041685/recommended/315660/

out of all the model railroad routes, this one is worth it the most. so before you even think about getting a model railroad route, GET THIS! this comes with all new locomotives, including 5 high speed shinkansen trains, and many narrow gauge emus and dmu's. SO GET THIS. oh, and the route itself is small, but the locomotives in it are definetly worth it. so if you want a model trainz layout, get this one first.
