Epic quest is solid but Excalibur is one of the best tables in the game.

Naja, Excalibur is ok, the other one boring... For me... The best one are Starwars and Co, but they are exorbitant expensive!!! No go

I have Pinball FX on PC, PS4 and Switch. Epic Quest is the table I keep coming back to over and over again. Excalibur is good as well but I find it quite difficult. Not difficult in a bad way, imo, but it's one of those games where you just have to be on your A game if you want to do well while playing.
Overall, Epic Quest alone is worth the price of this pack whether you're just starting out playing pinball or been playing for years.

Two... fine tables. Epic Quest has a lot of modes and kind of keeps up with the trashy mode of the Williams/Bally classic tables, also adding a lot of modes, minigames and combos. Excalibur is way more controversial than I expected, though all in all it is too similar to Epic Quest: mini games, ramps, this time a castle siege, and this time in a bit more serious manner. They are not my favourite tables, but whenever there is a match up that features them I am not bored.

I like this pack, well worth it's value. Great for beginners.
- Epiq Quest is a table where you advance your character like in a RPG. There is loot, epic items, experience. And you continue where you left with each new game. The table itself has a lot of fun stuff and great humor. Mostly you are fighting monsters but this doesn't get boring. Unique and fun!
- Excalibur is a very standard table, nothing special but good enough to play.

I originally bought this pack for Excalibur table based on reviews I found. Now that I own it. I feel Excalibur is an okay table. Not quite as good as I was hoping. When I first saw Epic Quest I wasn't sure I would like it. After playing it quite a bit. It's one of my favorites. It's very playable, clear objectives, and the music and talk / sounds are amusing.
This pack is worth the price just for Epic Quest in my opinion. Excalibur is just icing on the cake.

Both of these tables are absolutely exceptional.
I'll start first with Epic Quest.
Epic quest is an RPG style table with great rhythm and fun gameplay. The game itself is simple: Fight Monsters and take their loot. You defeat the monsters by shooting the sword and shield ramps in combo to knock their health down. For every monster slain you get to lock a ball for the "Princess Multiball". It's such a simple concept, and the ramps feel great to hit which means multiball jackpots are immensely satisfying. There are 12 monsters in total (13 if you include the wizard mode) which means one run of the game will see you witnessing Multiball numerous times. It's so good. Great humour, great music. Well worth your time.
Excalibur seems to divide the community a little bit. I can sympathise with both sides. A lot of people think it's an ugly table, this I would kind of agree with. The art work is fine but the colours are a bit jarring. It took me a while to fully "gel" with this table but I tell you, when I did, it was absolute bliss. I absolutely adore this table. There's so much to do. You start any of the 5 main modes by lighting the "Tale" standups on the left of the playfield. I would say though, dont specifically seek these standups out, because you'll hit them through natural play. And doing so means you're working toward lots of the other modes hidden within the table. You can fire ballista's at the castle, you can fight knights, you can enter a jousting tournament. It's all so much fun to move from mode to mode that it's hard to put down. The first few times I played this I was only trying to trigger modes and found myself getting frustrated, but honestly if you just let the ball take you on a journey it's extremely rewarding.
Thoroughly recommend this little mini pack. Even at full price, £2 a table is great value considering how much replayability you can get from both of these.

I'm torn on this pack. Epic Quest is a unique semi-RPG hybrid where level progression is save from one game to the next, complete with items to equip, spells to find, and monsters to fight. Monster fighting is kind of the main point of the game, and that can get a little repetitive, but I'd say it's worth it for the novelty alone, and you can easily get you money's worth before you get tired of it.
Excalibur on the other hand, I hate. There are other tables I simply dislike, don't find fun, etc., this is the only one I think I actively hate. It's an extremely difficult table where nearly all modes require extremely difficult shots to make, and the scoring feels completely arbitrary and random. Shoot a ramp? 500,000 points! Shoot it again in combo right away? 20,000 points. Frequently the ball, even under slow-mo examination, feels like simply doesn't go where geometry says it should go, where it went on previous flips, and how it plays at the same angles on other tables. Of course I may just be garbage at this table. I rank pretty decently in the leader boards for the tables I like, somewhere around the top 25% as near as I can tell, and I have plenty of fund on some tables I'm just not very good at, but I'd reserve this table for only the best players. All others will be frustrated.
So, is this a pack worth buying? For me, Epic Quest makes it worth the cost, while the frustration I have with Excalibur almost make me rate the whole thing poorly out of spite. But I won't.
