It gets a soft recommend only if you really love the game. I am on my 4th route in France. The game crashed 4 times. Once on two routes and twice on a 3rd that I never completed because it kept crashing at exact same location. Sounds like a map error. Also one road in Paris the Ai traffic rams all cars and buses, ai and you from the right at 50km. They appear out of thin air. Long story short its buggy. But playable after reloading. The 1 route I didn't finish, I could have back tracked and taken a different road and been late. Didn't feel like it so didn't reload that route after the 2nd crash. If it wasn't France, I wouldn't recommend, but I have to have France so that is that.

Real bad optimization in cities, dont use mirrors or you will die...graphics are ok, but if you use mirrors you can see your fps drops -30 from 60 in roads. This game will never be possible to play at 60 fps stable, first close the studio to fix that.

Same trees popping into the picture like cardboard cut outs. FPS drops driving into Cities. Game actually looks much better when it's raining.

a bigger map expansion, sadly not as detailed and well made as the newer smaller ones. OK to drive on highways, but distance drawing is very underwhelming with sparse detail and you will find too many copy-paste intersections, get on a sale

Upon release this looked like an alpha version, but most problems have been fixed since and now it's an okay expansion. It took some time to grow on me - initially I found it too simple and sterile - but as I keep exploring it, I like it more and more. There are some really nice roads and views, for example the mountain road (NOT the motorway) between Toulouse and Grenoble.

Only get this if it is on heavy discount for less than $8. Worst DLC ever, lots of bugs and not at all optimised and not even fixed since its released

It's a very good DLC in my opinion. Would definetly recommend. The cities have a lot of familiar memorabilia, and the roads and road signs are pretty realistic. (apart from the highway emergency lane) but a very worthy addition. A lot of extra map to explore, possibly even bigger then the base map of Germany. Paris has to be the nicest city I've seen in the game so far. Very realistic. The attention to detail is also insane throughout the whole map. Everywhere looks very scenic. Especially driving near the swiss border. The detail they put into the DLC definetly justifies the price.

This is one of my favourite game, but this dlc is a disaster at the moment (24/01/20). So many traffic problems, road sound and surface problems... crashes... a terrible experience for 25 euro! Also this map is very empty. I'm not happy because I love this game and I love the others dlcs.
