Not keen on this one at all. It comes with only two career scenarios. Each of those scenarios has a maximum achievable score of only 375. You don't even get a star for successful completion of the scenarios; only a green check mark. From a Career Scenario perspective, this DLC really misses the mark.

There is a problem with the multiple connection pipes when coupled to another unit. They swing violently and have bleed through issues. Still not fixed since its 2012 release.

Pure driving nirvana... that's what I say. If Train Simulator has taught me anything, it's that there's so much I already know about railways and so much I don't know as well. The Southern EMU's are one of them - these units seem to be controlled with your everyday throttle, when really it's a lot different. Those who know they're multiple units well will know what I'm referring too. In all honesty, this is perhaps one of the easiest trains I've ever driven in Train Simulator - it's a great runner, simple controls & wonderful liveries. My only real complaint is the generic horn sound, but the inclusion of literal 'door-slamming' sound effects along with a Guard's Whistle makes up for it. And the price? I suggest you go get it now - a wonderful addition for the Portsmouth Direct Line.

Very nice Slamdoor EMU for the PDL and BML, my only complaint is no Southern livery, but I saw one on DPSimulation. Oh, the sounds aren't that good either, so i'll be picking up the 421/422/423 SP from Armstrong Powerhouse soon. 14/17

You can finish all missions but you need to pay attention to some things. On the mission Last Train Home. On the final part when you finish you duty, you need to wait for the signal. If you ask for permission to pass a red signal, the game wil allow you to go, but when you do it will game over. When the signal goes yellow, you need to go slow, and when you are approaching the depot to stop the train for the night, you need to slow to around 10 m/h when changing tracks, or the train will derail. On the mission Stopin' & Startin'. Late when almost getting to woking, there will be a train that will ram you from behind and derail you. I don't remember which station it is, but go saving the progress every time you get to a station. To get away from the maniac train, you need to acelerate in a good timing so you don't fail de schedule (it will fail if you accelerate with the doors opened). You can use the camera from behind the train to see the maniac approaching, or the map. When you get away from him and pass trough another signal, it will go to red, and the maniac will stop and wont try to ram you anymore.

This addon is very nicely modeled, the detailing looks exelent. this addon is a must if you like simulating passenger services around london in the 60's,70's and 80's . the only thing i will say is it's better got get in the sale because £12 is a bit expensive for one train.
