This is a superb piece of DLC. The pack comes with the Class 76 in green livery, supplementing the original black livery in the base Woodhead route and the BR Blues livery available as freeware on UKTS (or, alternatively, as a TS Pro loco in Woodhead in Blue). By far the meat of the package is the Class 77, supplied in blue, green, and black liveries (the blue livery has the added E prefix). Whilst cab controls are very similar to the 76, this is not surprising given both machines were designed by the same person. It's also a good deal more powerful! Note: for those struggling with scenarios, Arc Under The Pennines and Sheffield Express all run fine as standard scenarios. 7.32 from Leicester can easily be fixed by removing an AI train, but why this wasn't spotted in playtesting baffles me.

I can't say whether I like or dislike it, as it won't download ! I have tried unticking the DLC in my Library and re-ticking it, but it won't download ?

The locos are not bad and you get the DT MK1 coaches as well. Unfortunately the scenarios are of poor quality and some of them do not run at all. To be honest, I bought this pack only because I love the Woodhead line and accidentally DTG delivers the scenarios with the Woodhead line, which is very clumsy of course.

Model is very good but speedometer reads in kmh instead of mph, no amp reading in the F4 hud veiw, scenario timetables timings are possible to meet only if you exceed max service amps, no nameplates on loco's, feel i have bought a unfinished product seeing has some of these issues where reported to DTG years ago should be taken off sale my rating is not fit for purpose 3 out of 10 .

This comes with an un-noted bonus in the Mk1 Coach Pack: https://steamdb.info/app/24044/ Includes lot of variants (BCK, BFK, CK, SO, TSO, FO, RMB, RF) in crimson & cream, chocolate & cream, maroon, green, and blue & grey liveries. The maroon and green liveries also have 'late' variants with electric heating equipment and (on maroon only:) coloured stripes indicating the 1st class and restaurant sections.

This is an all right DLC for the age. The model and textures have become a bit dated. The speedometer reads in Kilo meters per hour however on uktrainsim there is a patch for it. But it should not have to be that free where fixes pay where. I get maybe that since it did all so run the Netherlands they may have put it in wrong.

This DLC is OK at best, the Class 77 is a nice inclusion to the Woodhead Line. There is included a Class 76 BR Green livery included, but after i dug through the files there is also an BR Electric Blue folder for the 76 livery albeit missing the textures, which is a shame. Also, the Class 77's speed-o-meter is set as km/h instead of mph. Also i should mention the DT Mk1 coach pack, which also gives scenarios for the East Coast Mainline (York-Newcastle) and Somerset-Dorset (Bath-Templecombe). I wouldn't exactly recomend this to the casual player, but it is nice for a person who likes the Woodhead route. I'd say it's a 5/10, could use the Electric Blue livery for the 76. (Electric Blue is NOT British Rail Blue.)

I don't know why this pack isn't in a Bundle with the Woodhead Line - it's great. Yes it features the same sound & cab as the 76, but I honestly prefer the 77's. They have a sense of High Speed to them & come in three different liveries - BR Black, BR Green & BR Blue. It also has 4 challenging scenario's, but sadly one of them is broken. The '7:32 from Leicester' loads up, but is apparantly missing something... None-the-less, this pack is perfect if you want more Electric Action on the Woodhead Line, like high speed express runs, or simply want to spend a bit of pocket money. Yes it's similar to a loco you may have, but it's great & the scenario's make the pack worthwhile in my eyes.
