OMSI 2 Add-on Busbetrieb-Simulator DLC

It's a broken and non-funcitonal addon. Most of the time you either struggle to get the database connection and when you finally have it, your sim crashes even on default maps because something failed in Java environment which BCS is based on. I love the idea but execution is dramatically bad and current price is a full blown rip-off. There is so much to fix here it's beyond absurd and worst part is, I can't even get support because I don't get any activation e-mail from their webpage. In its current state forget about it and focus on OMSI 2 without this addon.

The single player mode is very difficult to earn the money. Also, there should be two maps available in the beginning. An error occured when I sold one of the maps, I couldn't purchase another map. So, there was only one map in the quota of two. Is it a bug?

This DLC is way over priced for the content you get. The add-on its self crashed quite frequently and my PC exceeds the minimum requirements.

Great for people who don't understand how to play regular OMSI. Also good for people, who don't want to set everything manually or copy hof files to each bus. It simplifies most of the stuff, which is great. The only thing I don't really like is pretty bad looking UI. Could've done something better.After playing for a while, I've reset my singleplayer carreer like 5 times because it's too hard. Economy system should be redone since you just go in negative balance very quickly

Can be fun when it works, but it's really buggy and unpolished. The UI looks like a school project. Crashes too much for me so I cannot recommend it.

I've been playing this addOn for 2 days in a row, and I really appreciate its concept. It is amazing to find other players driving other timetables around the map and inside of depot in the multiplayer mode. For those who love playing OMSI, I totally recommend this addOn. At the beginning you may feel lost and think: "What the heck is going on?" but in a few moments later you'll probably love it! Just like OMSI, this addOn sometimes has a slow starting, but keep calm and wait a while ;)

I saw this and I got quite excited about the idea of being able to do careers. The main game is nice after all, but it lacks something to do or to work for. You have your routes and driver record, but at the end it does not matter. So this was a must buy for me. Sadly, I have been left disappointed. Here is why: 1. The installation process is tedious. You have to register for an account first, then log in and then click through a lot of stuff, until it finally installs. Then it wants to have you acknowledge some TOS and legal stuff and do some settings. Finally you get into the main menu and an ad opens for their beta of Bus Dispatcher. 2. The UI and the whole menu, etc. looks old and simple. This appeared on the first look as something I got in 2000 or earlier. Not like something I have just bought. The interface itself is also pretty simple. Like buying buses, checking routes, etc. This could and probably should have been done way better. Especially given the price of 25 USD. 3. The DLC requires to start OMSI 2 after it has been set up. Sadly, many times I would just sit there, waiting forever and watching the bar to move left and right. Other times I would get an application error and would have to start the DLC using Steam and the main game manually. Quite inconvenient. Again, for 25 USD this should not be necessary. Summary: A nice idea with a lot of potential, that just has been poorly realized and should have been way better. No way this is worth 25 USD. I wanted to refund, but sadly I love OMSI 2 and I am way over the hours to refund. Since these hours are credited to the DLC as well, there is no way to get money back.

Contrary to many other reviews BCS as of 30/03/2020 has received plenty of updates and I personally really enjoy this DLC. I feel it adds another level to the game actually working for a company and progressing. As a pose to driving around for no real reward. The addon manager is really useful too especially at finding missing objects, BCS has a lot of potential which I am sure the dev(s) will do everything they can to achieve it's full potential. If you get it play around first, it takes some time to get used to but once you get used to it, it gives the game a new lease of life.

Great Addon, Yesterday they had server issues but it was better on single player so you can have time to play about with the addon and have a drive round :) The map is abit slow and abit glitchy though i tried the 2 built in maps and they was showing diffrent ways so i ignored the map. But like i said this game is new only came out yesterday has weeks and days come on there be more updates to fix things and to make the addon better like maybe link the addon page to omsi 2 addons on there website so it downloads straight away.

Let me start off by saying what I do like about this add on. The map showing me where to go. No longer having to following floating arrows which can be confusing on routes where the bus has afew differant turn around points. Displaying the information needed for the IBIS. This is very useful as it save alot of time having to look it up in the manual before you start a trip. Showing the speed of the bus and the time along the top of the screen to me is another thing that's quite handy. Now why I have gave this the thumbs down. Well I brought this in the hope of starting my own online company. However when I came to set the company up I found out that first you need 100.000 in game money. This is no bad thing as it gives you a goal to aim for in single player mode. But then you need to have had some training from another on line company. Now this is a problem when your rank 1 and don't speak German. As English speaking companies are afew in number they have a good number of people wanting to join them. This in turn pushes up the rank needed by other players who want to apply. I know some say join discord and try and get a invite but not all of us want to sign up for a discord account. And unless you know anyone in the company already who could send you a invite your kind of stuck. Also I just want to do my own thing with routes and buses that I own and not be limited by what another player has. Not only this I have paid real money for this add on and can only use half of it. Doing what this dev has done should not be allowed in payware DLC.
