Probably going to get hate. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. BUT, I can't understand how this is considered 'a good game'. -The movement feels very clunky. -Throwables are bugged, and you have to pick up others to be able to use the feature. -The 'defense' items are scattered all over the place, and STILL, I have only used ONE in the entire gameplay (literally at the end of the game). -Stealth mechanic sucks. Even if you lose the enemy out of sight, they still go to the same place you're hiding. -The hiding 'minigame' is too easy, giving you zero challenge when an enemy investigates your hiding spot. (Besides, the woman panicking out loud while the killer is right next to you ruins the immersion.) -The voice acting is mid, to say the least.
The 'girl' screaming when chasing you in the cellar is annoying as hell.
-There are missing assets/textures EVEN during cutscenes. Oh, and floaty items during gameplay don't help with immersion either. -The story is bad. It has interesting things here and there, sure, but it's not worth the time spent, nor the money. Overall, it feels like watching a bad horror movie till the credits roll, just to see how the story ends. I came here because I was told this was a 'spiritual successor' to Haunting Ground, but sadly, it wasn't. With the trailers, reviews and 'mostly positive' rating, I was expecting WAY more. Boring, annoying and dissapointing.

The horror aspects were pretty solid, however the story was a bit rough to keep up with. Worth playing if you enjoy older styled horror games like Haunting Ground.
