It's not the worst, not the best that i've seen though. For anybody curious as to the route included with this, it's the old Phorum Pen. charity route. They simply replaced all the narrow gauge track and did away with some other stuff. Its a great route for a small heritage operation, but still.... The stock is nice all in all, though there are some bugs noted. It goes along fairly well with the IoW addon.

While I like this route, as far as a rerelease goes, that's about it. The route's actually just a reskin of the old (and discontinued) Phorum Penisula Route, minus the Narrow Gauge section and the USA tank that came in that route.
The quarry has a nice loader (that's a plus) but the wagon is your stock standard 16t mineral wagon with a stone texture load instead of a coal texture load
The vans are your stock standard vans as seen in Falmouth, Riviera Line in the 50s and the Fowler 4F pack, so it's a tick for purely reused assets (great if you don't have any of those packs)
The conflat has a freeware texture to it, and is seen in routes like Falmouth, Port Road or in the UKTS Wagon Pack. So you can go and get that for free or just play with the ones from the routes (assuming you have said routes)
The TTA Tankers are also repackages from other packs, similar to the NSE MK2 and IoW (Ex-SR) Push-Pull stock.
The class 20 is similar to the RSC Class 20 on steam (and a rather shamed version to say so, with the broken horn). The Pannier is just the Riviera Pannier, reskinned and the reskins have no discernible difference between the weathered and clean variants.
The speed markers are so sparce that you'd think they're made of gold. It'd be nice to see them along the line.
The sidings for the quarry are super sparce too, I would have thought the three at the "throat" of the branch line would be at least six (three on either side of the line) and the sidings at the quarry are nice, but it would be nice to see maybe a shed like structure with a fueling stage area for both the steam and diesel engines that have to bring the wagons down there.
As for the stations, they're alright the way they are. Sure the NSE livery for the canopies and the station name totems could be done in the London Transport livery, but for what they are, they're alright.
The docks are another place that need some sprucing up. In addition to some more sidings in the complex itself, it'd have been nice to maybe see them done up more like Falmouth (sprawling and big). As is, with the tiny dockyard, it's more like a quayside near a canal that brings in smaller fishing trawlers.
To be honest, stay away unless your after a small handful of assets.

I don't really understand the negative reviews for this pack. Yes, it may have a lot of reskins in it, but it's currently the only way to get Phorum Peninsula, not to mention the LT liveried stock looks pretty good.
If you like London Transport, you'll enjoy this pack, especially if you also own the Virtual District Line available from BTS.

I don't understand why this DLC got a lot of negative reviews. My only favourite part of this DLC is the 1938 Stock. I would highly recommend, especially if you want to drive this on either Isle of Wight or on the new WCML South.

This addon has received some poor reviews. Let me say I was SUPER excited to see LU Heritage stock coming to TS. The 1938 Stock may have some recycled sounds, but the interior is certainly a LOT better the IoW 483. The Pannier is fabulous, a Pannier with no BR shedplate. This is very nice, but also opens up GWR reskin opportunities. If we ever want to see any more classic Met stock (Met 1, 353, Milk Brake, etc) reviews need to be good. I will say, I was disappointed by the fact that only 20142 and not identical 20227 was included, and by the fact that there were no teaks, merely straight port-IoW coaches, but after running it, and making a few personal changings, I can forget all of those minor bugs. Hopefully they will change too. It is LU people, what other options are there? I have a feeling this stock will be coming in useful rather soon as well....

Pros: LT Pannier, Nice route with a few scenarios and fun to shunt and drive on.
Cons: Class 20 has a broken horn, Rolling stock is all from pre released items and the route is alright.
It would be nice if the 4 wheeler coaches were in Metropolitan livery rather than southern.
As you can see compared to the cons there isn't many good things about the route.
If you can pick this up for a low price in a sale I'd recommend it if Metropolitan/LT stuff is to your interests, But not at full price.

Rip off. No updates to the trains. They are just re-textureing the interior & exterios of the trains. DO NOT BUY!

Bought the Route, which is nice, even is it is a fictional one, there is enough scope for shunting and there is an animated crane for loading small containers onto 4-wheeled flat wagons.
I really like the 1938 Tube stock, looks good and is/are easy to drive.
Pannier very good, except I felt the brakes were not the best, there does not appear to be a "Lap" position, so you are having to "apply" then "release", "apply" etc.
Class 20 is good except for the Horn.
The 4-wheeled coaches are nice, except the tail light is on all the time and on all coaches. This I found a bit annoying, especially as there is so many examples of intelligent Tail lighting coaches and wagons about nowadays.
So Cons for me are:
Tail lights on coaches need to be bought up to intelligent status.
Horn on the Class 20 to be fixed.
Brakes on the Pannier to have a "Lap" or "Run" position added.

I really was expecting much better concerning the 1938 class. The model is pretty good, the passenger interior is superb, but oh dear.... they have re-used the sounds from the IOW. They were awful but we excused it as an early DLC. Even then the tube train sounded like 'nothing like a tube train'. It was like a vacuous cardboard cut-out with no personality. To repeat it is beyond a joke and you should feel insulted. This is, excuse the pun, end of the line rehashed content for an end of the line game. Don't buy it unless someone pulls some better sounds in. Even the 455 sounds would have been better than this hatchet job.

When I read the first article about this pack on the Train Sim website, I just cringed. It seems like DTG are scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to ideas for new DLC.
I do think it's nice that they are finally starting to acknowledge the existence of the London Underground, but this pack clearly shows that either TFL were too stubborn to give Dovetail the license for the LU roundel, or Dovetail where just being as lazy as they usually are.
I was very disappointed by this DLC, mainly because of how much hype DTG was generating for it. In other words, a case of over-promising and under-delivering. I really hate the term 'Classic Capital Traction' they use at the start of this store page. Just putting that out there.
This truely is a mess of a DLC. The bonus route is the only worthwhile part of this pack, even if the stations are all done-up in Network Southeast style when the pack is supposed to have a London Transport theme. I do like the fact that we finally have a remastered Phorum Peninsula, but again, it's let down by the rolling stock itself.
The biggest gripe I have with this LT "Heritage" collection is the fact that not a single piece of the included rolling stock is brand-new to Train Simulator. We already had the 1938 tube stock with the Isle of Wight route, the Pannier Tank is a reskin of the Riviera in the 50s Pannier, and the Class 20 has been in-game for about 3 years. It makes no sense why the Class 20 was included, when they have virtually nothing to do with the London Underground, besides bringing the S stock down from Derby. Calling the Pannier's coaches "Push-Pull" is a complete lie, as they are just standard coaches, that are literally just copied and pasted over from the Isle of Wight route. The NSE coaches are from the NSE Class 47 pack. We already had the conflats, 16 ton mineral wagons, vans and the WR brake van, which was copied over from Dovetail's rehash of the Iron Horse House 9F. I know this from looking at the rolling stock list in the scenario editor (it says 'PP 9F WR Brake Van'). Also, the "Push-Pull" coaches were not changed at all. They still say 'Southern Railway'. I thought this collection had a London Transport theme to it!
I have realised that only the motive power has a London Transport theme. Everything else is completely random. NSE coaches and stations + miscellaneous goods wagons we already have. This pack is just a complete mess. I only got it for the route, as I like to use it for filming my series of Train Simulator Music Videos (using songs like Land of Confusion by Genesis).
My last major complaint is the names of the stations. I mean seriously? King Henry VIII Halt, Jurassic Halt, Channel, Spinswit Harbour? Who comes up with these names? I will throw Dovetail a bone for adding more stations onto this revamped route, as the original Phorum Peninsula only had 5 stations. What I don't understand is why they changed the names of the stations that survived from the original route. Ash Row is now St Paul's, Peddlestown is now Channel, St Bilton is now Vindelis, and Gray's Point is now Stony Point. At least Vindelis station is much brighter under the overall roof than the original St Bilton.
So to summarise, this pack had great potential, but what we got as the final product was a huge disappointment. None of the rolling stock is new, and the route doesn't even feel like you're in London, not to mention only the motive power has a London Transport theme. If you really want this pack, I suggest you only get it for the route itself. I can-not recommend this DLC at all. In my opinion, it is nothing more than a big kick in the guts to fans of London Transport and the present day London Underground, like myself.
