I'm flying a320/321 for a dailly and handling of this aircraft is quite similar, MCDU misses few things but it's not hard to deal with it but for christ's sake fix THE PFD!!! Everything can be buggy and it's ok but not the most important thing to fly this aircraft PFD. The speed indication, vertical speed indication, flight directors, bird all of this is working frame by frame. I have like 120fps all the time but PFD by itself is working in 5-10!! C'mon guys u did a great job but even the basic for FSX a321's PFD is working better. with this PFD its not worth 28euros!!!

OK so first off, this addon is REALLY great I mean, the MCDU works, cockpit is almost fully interactive But the best part is, the PERFORMANCE Now I have a mid-range PC (intel core i3 10110u 2.6ghz, 4gb ram, 2gb Intel UHD Graphics) I lowered my FSX settings to somewhat medium-high, and I was really surprised by the performance of this addon In the VC, the framerates are about 20-30 FPS and outside, it reaches 50 That's much better than I expected So this addon is definitely worth it

Pretty good, really realistic, nice sounds, doesnt work with my saitek switch panel but im sure I may find a way to fix it, autopilot seems a bit weird as well, but as per normal it will most likely just take time. Recommended.

I purchased this add on and it has been a complete dissapointment. It is full of glitches and numerous features dont work or simply stop working (ie. autopilot, numerous guages and other switches). To make it worse when I requested a refund from steam they claimed I had used the add on for a period of 128hours in the first two weeks of purchasing it, which was completely false. After three attempts to use the product, I was informed that I had breached the gameply time and that I wasnt permitted a refund on a faulty product. Very dissapointed and this will be the last Steam add on I ever buy. Beware!

I can not run FSX with this addon because its not opening with DLC. If I disable DLC game is starting but then I'm activating DLC at this time game is not starting.

The best Airbus platform for FSX:SE hands down. Only this Aerosoft package gives you the complete Airbus experience with weather radar, TCAS, interactive checklists with co-pilot assist(usually paid as an extra on other DLC aircraft), RAAS(it's included by default at no additional cost, but it can sometimes be included as a 'steam bundle' for use with other aircraft in your collection), external fuel planner software and additional HD textures from the Aerosoft Website. The customer service from Aerosoft is also 'First Class' pardon the pun. If you want to see some proof look through my screenshots inside my profile. It's a great aircraft for performing short to medium flights and can be as 'hands-on' or 'hands-off' as you prefer. Good for the casual simmer, but Great for those who try for 'ultra realism'. It's not quite at PMDG levels of complexity, but its a close enough for the average user. PC Performance is good on my system, this aircraft has been on the market for many years and this has given developers time to tweak performance. It should be good to run on most gaming desktops built during the last 4-5 years. It runs well at most payware airports with 100% AI and max settings. The only issues I encounter are running out of VAAS memory at some HD airports like Aerosoft Zurich. But you can turn down in-game settings to fix this. 'SimWings Heathrow' and 'NewYork AirportsV2' work flawlessly. On Summary, It takes a good few hours to get used to the way you operate the aircraft, but it gets more rewarding with time. I can also recommend using a good FREE Flight Planning software (https://www.simbrief.com/home) to save you time programming a route into your aircraft. This will get you flying quicker, plus you can always read-up on the product manuals yourself once your are up in the air. I have flown the PMDG777, PMDG747 and captainsim757 and always find myself returning to the A320/321 Product due to the completeness of the product/repaints avaliable. NOW the caviates, If you intend to purchase P3Dv4 or later in the near future then avoid buying this from steam. The sale price/bundle price may be tempting for some, but you will not be able to purchase the P3Dv4 upgrade package from aerosoft as it was not sold by them. To my knowledge they have never allowed this and never will unless you buy direct from Aerosoft. No more updates/improvements will be issued for the steam version.

I am super stoked with the purchase. This is not an Aircraft that you can install, jump into the cockpit, fire up the engines and fly off. There is a learning curve and a knowledge base that needs to be had to fuly appreciate the true to life operations of the plane. Its not for everyone, if you like "dumbed down" version of aircraft that most anyone can get around in and fly without much practice or effort then you dont need to bu add on aircraft, that have wonderful planes like that included with FSX However, if you are a real avation enthusist and Simulator hobbiest it dosent get much better then this. Almost every real life function in an Airbus is modled and functional in this add on. It has a awesome FMC that is fairly user friendly once you are comfortable using it. Flys like a dream and even has built in ground services, crew (including functiong co pilot who flips switches and helps to configure the plane and go through checklists with you) should you want the help or you can fly solo. It bummed me out to see several nagative reviews based on "the airplane is really hard to fly" or "has a large learning curve." Once you get to know this plane its the easiest plane in the world to fly, maybe literaly. Complicated it is but hard it is not. Apart from takeoff the plane will fly itself from LA to NY and then land itself with minimal input from the pilot as Airbuses do in real life The only Cons I see are the it does eat a little frame rate but FSX was relesed in 2009 on a 32-bit OS. Most "modern" CPUs will run it on fairly high settings no prob, no need to buy a purpose built gaming computer. The other Con the A321 has a max range of about 2400 Natical Miles, so no internationl flight, at least not across oceans. I guess you could cheat and add gas mid flight:) I hope that the developers like Aerosoft keep cranking them out. fingures crossed they will model the A380 for FSX: Steam. Ill fly that puppy arond the world.

This is a Amazing add-on made by Aerosoft. So far, I've been flying many routes on this aircraft and it never gets boring. There are few cons however that I will explain below. Pros: Looks Amazing Sounds Amazing Easy to install Liveries Added Fuel Planner Accurate Auto Pilot Accurate MCDU or FMS Accurate Flight Systems (Hyd, Fuel, Weight and Load, ect) Added Checklists Added Animations (Windows, Doors, Tray Tables, Tiller) Cons: Can be performance impacting with a low-end Computer Sometimes Cockpit Lights can be too bright (Day and Night) Semi-Steep Learning Curve (It's easier than most Professional Add-ons however) Very Minimal Wing Flex Hard to Reset MCDU or FMS after Landing The A320/A321 Add-on by Aerosoft is stunning. Amazing Detail in the cockpit and exterior add to the realism. Checklists make the Learning curve a bit easier, and it generally runs well on most modern computers. Add this with REX 4 texture direct and REX soft clouds, everything is absolutly amazing. This is worth every penny I paid for it. Final Score: 8/10

Don't get me wrong. It is a great aircraft. Please please PLEASE do NOT buy from steam. My Navigraph, airac cycle updates and other vital addons do not work. The aircraft is very stable and realiable. If you really want this aircraft, buy it off the Aerosoft website and download it from there.

Exactly what I have been waiting for. However, the Livery Manager tool did not specify the correct path to install the liveries you can download from Aerosoft. I had to manually edit the the Livery Manager config file found at D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\DLC\500201\Aerosoft\Airbus A320_A321\Livery Manager to set the path as follows on my install in order for the liveries to be installed and show up in the game: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\DLC\500201. Otherwise the default path was: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX which simply put the Liveries in wrong place. Otherwise manually installing them works but the Livery Manager is much easier once working properly. Hope this helps someone having the same issue.
