Ignore the people complaining about this DLC being too hard. That's the point. It's rougelike and the reason you have only one life is because the guy you play as doesn't have a ring that can bring him back to life. It's insanely fun so please try it out for yourself.

Ha! Hilarious. This was better than the original game. *It's protagonist was more relatable. *There was a significant relationship that provided depth to the story and characters, though it was thin because of the story's brevity (see below for how Idril would've improved this). *The game loop was less grueling as you had no one to dominate and no one's orcish hand to hold. *The nemesis mechanic was watered down and there isn't much variation in your Haradrim commanders, which was a let down. This is especially true given that you get three bodyguards; it would've been nice to create a dynamic squad to fit your play style. But instead i just stacked the squad with the highest level commanders I could find. *The DLC is iron mode, but the gameplay is much easier. It's nice that you don't have to fight 5 billion orcs all by yourself. Because in the original game, there are often so many orcs that the counter system becomes a bit of a joke. Your eyes will bleed as you try to figure out what the fuck is going on. It's hard to counter what you can't see; add in a host of mooks that can't be countered (shield bearers) or fight from range and you've got an annoying fuck of clusters that you're just swinging at like you're straight out of the movie Signs. *But the Haradrim are apparently on crack because they just kill everything. One of my commanders kept kill stealing and was leveling faster than I was. In contrast, the orc commanders were much, much simpler and easier to take on. This was also a welcome relief because it was annoying in the original game when you'd come across a commander who was immune to poison, fire, curse, executions, ranged attacks, had counter strike, couldn't be vaulted over, and had an unusually large penis and so you just slowly and arduously take down their health swipe after swipe after swipe. Unfortunately, I must say that the orcs seemed a bit too simple and easy here; almost all of them were weak against ranged attacks, which was convenient given that you have a large array of ranged ammunition you can use. So again, you may be playing iron mode but the game lowers the difficulty considerably. The game did not have Idril, which I found strange. I have no idea where she was during this story. I missed her, though. She would've added an extra element to the story and given more depth to the protagonist. But, I mean, I'm not INTO Idril or anything. Like, she's cool, but it's not like I NEED her to be in the story. It's not like I miss her or something, I don't know why you would even say that. It's really funny to downvote both the original games and upvote this DLC, but it's actually better.
