Nier automata is one of the greatest games I have ever played. At first i was confused and even after pouring 40 hours into getting the final ending I am still a little confused, however, this game is amazing and easily one of the best I have ever played. The combat switches from a devil may cry beat em up to a galaga shooter with all sorts of weapon types and buffs that allow for e several play styles. Through all its ups and downs and its characters I have never been more appreciative of a purchase. I would play this game as many times as I need to over just to experience it again. The final choice at the end is one that left me silent for minutes and I am still in awe at the game's ability to grab me emotionally. I would rate Nier 10/10.

SPOILERLESS REVIEW "A Game That Stays With You Long After It Ends" What I Loved: What I love about NieR: Automata is how it caught me completely off guard. I expected a good action game, but what I got was something way deeper—moments that made me smile, moments that hit hard, and a story that stuck in my head for days. It’s one of those rare games where even the quiet parts feel important, and by the end, you realize it’s left a bigger mark on you than you thought it would. The World: A hauntingly beautiful post-apocalyptic landscape that mixes decaying cities, sprawling deserts, lush forests, and eerie ruins. It’s not just a backdrop—it feels alive in its own quiet, desolate way, with subtle details that make exploration rewarding. The Side Quests: Some are lighthearted, some are oddly touching, and a few will make you unexpectedly emotional. They add depth to the world and its inhabitants rather than feeling like simple filler. The Combat: Fast, fluid, and stylish. The hack-and-slash mechanics are responsive and satisfying, with smooth dodges, flashy combos, and a mix of melee and ranged attacks. Battles can shift from elegant dance-like fights to intense bullet hell chaos without missing a beat. The Hacking: A refreshing twist that adds variety to combat and puzzles. Simple in concept, but its presentation and integration into the world make it feel like more than just a mini-game. The Soundtrack: One of the best in gaming, period. Haunting vocals, powerful orchestral pieces, and ambient tracks that perfectly match the mood of every area and moment. You’ll catch yourself listening to it outside of the game. The Characters: The heart of NieR: Automata lies in its three main protagonists. - 2B is calm, disciplined, and outwardly stoic, yet her moments of subtle vulnerability make her compelling. - 9S brings curiosity and warmth, offering a different emotional perspective on the events around them. His lightheartedness contrasts sharply with the game’s heavier moments. - A2 is more reserved and guarded, with a raw edge that makes her journey feel distinct and personal. Each of them has their own arc, personality, and philosophy, and the way they intersect creates some of the most memorable moments in the game—without relying on over-explained exposition. By the end, you feel like you’ve truly understood them, even if some questions remain intentionally unanswered. Verdict: NieR: Automata is the kind of game that stays with you—not just because of its gameplay, but because of the feelings it leaves behind. It’s equal parts beautiful and heartbreaking, and once it grabs you, it doesn’t let go. You don’t just play it; you live it… and when it’s over, you’ll find yourself quietly wondering if you ever truly left its world at all. “Everything that lives is designed to end.” — 2B

Even though I know about this game since it came out, but I never had the time or chance to play it, But after beating Stellar Blade multiple times and was aching for something similar , I had to check this game out, The game is doing a good job giving you a variety of game play styles: one moment you are side-scrolling, the next you're in full 3D. You begin in Arial combat and once you are on the ground, the game dips and sways between several aspects, keeping you from getting bored, but for some reason the game didn't appeal to me that much. I felt like playing just so I could say I beat it. I tried in my first run to do as many side quests as possible and I did a lot, but I didn't bother to get any other endings. Not sure if that'll change in the future, but for now I'll move on for now. Just in case you are interested in playing this game and Stellar Blade, I totally recommend starting with NieR:Automata. Otherwise Stellar Blade might ruin the experience of this one, even though both games are different but both have the same feeling and one will ruin the other. That being said I’m not gonna rate this game or recommend it either. But I'm Sure the fan of this game will give it 9S out of 10

To all of my fellow players who have yet to reach the ending, and to the one person in the world whom my data will aid in their final struggle—rest assured, you will see this through. You were never alone, and you have the combined efforts of all those who came before you to support you. You can do it.

I came for androids gf, I stayed for the existential crisis. After 100%ing this game (yes, all 26 endings), I’m still not sure if I found meaning in life — but I did unlock every achievement, and that’s basically the same thing. The gameplay slaps, the music haunts my soul, and I now cry every time I see a vending machine. Highly recommend if you enjoy stylish combat, sad robots, and questioning your own existence in between side quests.
