The core skill in late night is mixology, everything revolves around mixology. However EA clearly didn't bother to do any beta testing for this expansion because there is a game breaking bug which means you don't get paid a penny for mixology making this entire expansion pack pointless. EA want £17.99 for a 10 year old expansion for which they never even fixed the core mechanics of the gameplay. EA have paid so little attention to fixing bugs in the sims that I doubt that anyone in EA even knows that this product is fundamentally broken. Do not buy this. It is not worth your money.

One of the beautiful things about this expansion is the way how it captures the essence of a night out on the town. You gain celebrity, form bands, and visit dance clubs and dive bars with friends in tow. I absolutely love this new neighborhood known as Bridgeport, which features a few clusters of suburban areas, surround the bustling downtown city. Downtown includes the job locations, night clubs and bars, parks, restaurants and high-rise apartment buildings 🌃 Not to mention, the Sims can now have the option to take the subway. Stations are set up around the city. The actual train ride isn’t shown, however it is an extremely fast way to commute (about as quick as teleporting if you don’t count the time it takes for your Sim to get to the actual station.) But of course, if you are a witch just like me - broom is always the answer and in fact, the pegasus broom is actually faster than the station. I personally think Late Night may be the best Sims 3 expansion pack of all. The celebrity aspect is the biggest game-changer here and it really only gives your Sims a little more incentive to leave the house (especially if they have so much money that they usually prefer stay home and play with all of their stuff as opposed to going out and meeting people). Not to mention, the Late Night expansion enhances the base game with new ways for Sims to socialize and spend their free time, which will make your game feel new again without feeling all that different in terms of the way you play it. In another word, it gives us new and interesting ways to let our Sims improve their quality of life. So, if you've ever wanted your little computer people of The Sims 3 to contemplate the dark corners of their lives, the Late Night expansion is your ticket to blood-pumping parties and blood-sucking neighborhood 🧛 If you have the Supernatural expansion, then more of the reason you should be getting this one 💃

The best expansion this game has to offer. It's a little laggy, but worth it every second.

While I love the city theme and the option to create a band and become famous, there are so many things wrong with this DLC. 1. When you make a band, you will never get any gigs. I have only gotten one gig from this. 2. Vampires are stupid and have no place in a pack about bands, hangouts, and things like that. 3. Now, I will say I love the penthouse and apartments, but I don't like that you can't visit other sims apartments. Sure, you can buzz yourself in, but it feels baron. 4. Parks barely have anybody in them, and the same goes for hangouts. It seems there is nobody in them, even the hotspots are baren and most of the time only have 3 to 2 people in them. Not the worst Sim pack, but there is just so much wrong with it.

Well, in all seriousness, The Sims3 Late Night is rather enjoyable and creative. It surely simulated the "adored" celebrity life that has anything a sim could possibly want, except for privacy. Wanna hang out in the most exclusive lounges and show off how famous you are by giving out signatures and be in the limelight wherever you go? Wanna have your casual flirt turned into an affair that's scrutinized all over town, or have your most private Woohoo exposed to everyone? Just have a try in this glamorous DLC!

My favorite DLC by far! So much to do and Bridgeport is beautiful! If you only have money for 1 DLC, I would highly recommend getting either Late Night or Pets. You can disable the celebrity system if it's annoying to you, although I like it. The actor/actress is very cool. I love the fact that musicians now have some more instruments. You get drums (The Sims 4 could never.), piano, and I believe you also get bass. You can form bands, which is amazing. I really like the fact that you can form bands because I love making musicians. I love sending my sim to clubs. Usually when your sim appears there is nobody in them other than the bartender but give it a minute and more sims will show up. I also love the apartments. It's fun to laugh at your sim get stuck in the elevator. 10/10 best DLC imo.

One of the better dlc's of Sims 3. The price for the dlc is absolute crap though. The skyscraper appartments are a bit disappointing, very small and not suited for a family. The rest of the map is alright and plenty of nice lots to choose from. All the new activities and careers are a nice addition to the game especially combined with the other dlc's. And there are also plenty of new props, clothing and hairstyles which gives the game more variaty.Don't expect that the dlc's will go on sale again, because EA is pushing everyone to Sims 4 now. Only worth the price if you really really want to have it.

If you're wondering about buying ANY expansions, I would recommend this whole-heartedly. Almost everything is a great edition to the game- a city, and a lot of new items for your sims as well as your home, which can now be an apartment. There is a new career option that is WAY better than the "singer" career in Showtime. If you want a more urban lifestyle for your sims, get this!!!

Adds a very nice city with new clubs and bars it adds new instruments and the ability to form bands. Gives you apartments and a celebrity system with somewhat annoying paparazzi. Oh and Skinny Dipping. My Rating: 9/10

How to enjoy: - Spend an hour customizing your Sim and get Gold Digger wish. - Find a rich, high level celebrity. - Marry him/her. - Be a 6-star celebrity. - Kill your spouse. - Enjoy his possessions and remarry to a Vampire. - Get yourself turned. - Kill your spouse again. - Establish your vampire kingdom. - Get bored and start a new game. 10/10 would do it all again.
