Welcome back commander. I adore the concept of the campaign. Beating levels and bonus objectives gives you more starting units for all future missions. Towards the end you start with a rather large army which is super helpful for the last couple missions. My biggest complaint is definitely the nuke. It needs an extra couple seconds to be able to see it and run away. Your entire army can disappear in the blink of an eye, and that is common in the last few campaign missions. A second complaint is the harvester's overpowered infantry crushing. Every dang time you go up the ramp into the enemy base in the campaign you can count on all your infantry being crushed in the process. But even with those complaints the game is a lot of fun. And hopefully the sequels fix these problems and keep the fun charm : )
