NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 - Season Pass DLC

***IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PLAYING THE GAME*** (I am looking for 6 people to share my roster of games with. I currently have many games with DLC and growing every week. I play mainstream franchised games with an occasion of playing personal favorites.) Review: As someone who grew up on Naruto and was craving more after the main game, these DLCs brought back that spark, if only briefly. Playing as Shikamaru and Gaara gave the experience a fresh vibe, especially with how their stories intersect and revisit familiar places. But the price vs. content ratio feels off, and the promise of “several hours of content” is exaggerated at best. You’ll enjoy it if you’re here for the nostalgia and world building, but completionists or casuals may find the content too short and expensive for what it costs. Pro’s & Con’s: Shikamaru’s Tale Pro’s: - Adventure Mode Expanded: Shows progress percentages across different storylines, which helps track completion. - Play as a Non-MC Character: Refreshing to walk around as Shikamaru, it gives the DLC a proper side-story feel. - Helps with Ninja Tasks: The 50 task list becomes easier to manage with this extra gameplay loop. - Cross-Story Task Completion: Completed Naruto quests as Shikamaru felt rewarding and efficient. Con’s: -Poor Value for Price: As a fan, I had to buy it, but the content doesn’t justify the cost. - Dialogue-Heavy: Spent more time reading than fighting, faced the same enemy five times. - Flashback Fights Over New Content: More “what we already know” instead of post-war or original lore!!! - Short Runtime: Finished Shikamaru’s entire story in under 2 hours, nowhere near “several hours.” - Repetitive Completion Tasks: Some side content was already done, just needed to talk to an NPC again. - Conglomeration Arc Spawning is Awful: Tedious running in circles hoping the right quest appears. ⸻ Pro’s & Con’s: Gaara’s Tale Pro’s: - Intertwined Perspectives: Seeing Shikamaru’s village visit from Gaara’s side added immersion. - New Area Unlocked: Nothing major, but a nice touch for paid content. - Unique Battle Arena: New map makes ring outs easier and changes the fight dynamic. - Final Mission Payoff: Playing as Gaara instead of as Naruto, meeting Naruto was a welcome surprise. Con’s: - Unimportant Side Content: Missions cover filler-level events instead of real anime moments!!! - Naruto’s Absence Felt: It’s Gaara’s story, but not seeing Naruto walking around feels like a missed opportunity. - Repetitive Boss Fights: Fought Killer Bee six times in one mission just lazy writing. - Unbalanced Difficulty Spike: The Raikage mission is absurd, slow Gaara vs. buffed enemy is just bad tuning. - Barely 1 Hour of Content: Whole thing is over in another hour again, not worth the price on its own.
