MOUSE SOULS !
This small gem made by a single developer is a beautiful ode to the much more well known title, DARK SOULS - yet it stands on its own right !
Charming 2D top-down design, beautiful music... Don't let the "cute aesthetic" fool you, this game is rather tough (sometimes brutally so)!
Good on you, mister Daniel Wright :)
PS (minor gripes) :
- on occasion, the startup animations are harder to read than you'd expect
- at the time of writing, achievements were never implemented
- this game does NOT use Steam Cloud for its saves :(

is a little jank but I really enjoyed it for a 5 dollar indie game.
I can't recommend a controller enough though. Don't buy this game for kb/m
if you only have a ps controller consider ds4windows because this game only accepts xbox controllers
