Great locomotive if you're going for the 1990s!

Good DLC, if you are a fan of Diesel Locomotives. It has fuel and sand consumption, a very detailed exterior and cabin models, which opens and closes windows and doors. I can't say how realistic the sound is, as I'm no expert on locomotives, but it seems pretty good. Several lights to turn on and off: Headlights, number boards, walkway and cabin. Panel and gauges light can be turned on/off by switch (lower left side), if you chose realistic drive mode. After installing, search for asset name: SP Dash 9-44CW

-SP Dash 9 review- Today (5/6/16) I have decided to purchase the SP Dash 9 so I have a few more toys to play with. After about a hour of playing around with it, i find it is worth the investment. I have taken it and tested it on the Mojave Subdivision on a session recreation you know as 'The DPU Push' in the sessions screen, I had a set up of 4-2-2. 4 locomotives in the lead, 2 in the middle, and 2 on the rear, starting at Bena. I had 2 Dash 9's in the lead, along with a SD45 and a SD40T-2, and had 2 Dash 9's in the middle, and 2 SD40T's pushing on the rear. Lead loco screenshot coming up to Caliente - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=679664943 Anyways... Locomotive is highly detailed and has great sound. Cab interior is very well detailed, and I can confirm that the interior is what a Dash 9's interior looks like. Before all this 9/11 crap took effect, I had more than enough freight train rides as a kid with my grandfather. The locomotive sounds great as you put it through its paces, from idle to run 8. As something my granfather would always say when he heard a GE at idle... "Those damn GE's always sound like they're choking on their own smoke." Chemeleon skins allow for 3 really nice skins. New, Slightly Weathered, and Aged - just before the UP takeover. Locomotive features fuel and sand useage scripts. Detailing goes as far as being able to control the the front and rear cab doors and conductor and engineer visors. -Suggestions For Improvement- The one negative thing I have noted is MU cables and air hose connections to not connect to other MU-ed locos. Add a animation of them connecting to other locos. -Overall Review- 9/10 - Excellent in everything.
