Have the correct Riviera fifties route, this add on shows as loaded yet it is a circle crossed out, fed up buying add ons that just don't work and waste so much time trying to fix it, Bought four add ons yesterday, not one works

I loved the Saint and TPO what a great addition to the GWR collection. Great value with the TPO added to the pack. First drive just had to be from Kingswear to Newton Abbot as you have a great hill climb and some high speed running. The loco feels very much like the halls and grange but with a good turn of speed. The TPO set would of been nice with a few more coaches just to work the engine on the climb. The loco is visually stunning and steams and handle as you would expect from Victory works. The sounds are great and add to the realism of the driving experience. I found the safety valves are very loud and can spoil the experience a bit. Keeping them from lifting after a hard climb is a work in progress. Stunning engine and with the TPO hard to top for value. Look forward to adding the TPO equipment and see the coaches in action. The Paddington to Penzance mail will be a scenario soon.

Another excellent Victory Works Steam Loco with working Travelling Post Office. Never had a bad one :) Loco can be driven in Simple, Standard or Advanced mode. Done the tutorial so far and very impressed with the pickup/drop off of the mail bags.

I Don't know what to start with, but I'll say that this pack is truly amazing! The way the TPO aparatus has been set up is truly amazing. Combined with the BR Livery Pack, and the Blast Pipe Productions it is amazing! The Scenarios included are very good, well worth the £11.99 I Picked this up in a sale, but even if it wasn't I would have bought it. It is a great Addon for your Rivera Line in the 50's Collection! So go on, stop staring at the Reviews and buy it! Because i'm sure you'll like it!

It's a production by Victory Works and it's God's Wonderful Railway. Win, win for me. Some good included scenarios too. I just need to figure placing the markers for my own scenarios, I gather the TPO coaches will operate with any loco, not just the Saint, bonus.

Another nice pack from VC. Truth be told, the mail car is what really sets this one out. GWR ten wheelers are so very uninspiring, in my opinion, just as a whole. The pack, though, is wonderful. The mail car is so very pleasing to watch, just adds a bit more fun to any scenario. The locomotive runs and sounds decent, pretty typical of VC. It is fairly simple to operate, if you've run any of the other GWR locos.
The GWR Saint
I had HUGE expectations for this locomotive (as its victory works, duh). But does it live up? Pros * A surprisingly vast range of variants. I expected just the single locomotive judging my the images * The model is so bloody good looking! It manages to capture classic GWR looks with originality * Comes with 2999 lady of legend. * The cab is spot on. * Advanced mode is both fun and challenging Cons * At times the chuff sounds can be rather quiet with high reverser * Recycled Whistle * More QD variants for the earlier variants Saint = 9/10
The TPO
Pros * What... A... Model * The animation is seemless * I love the colour scheme chosen, fits so well Cons * None TPO = 10/10
The Verdict
Oh victory works, why did i ever doubt your abilities. Every single loco (apart from the terrier on steam, Get the SSS one for god sake) has blown me away. You will go down in history as the best Steam Locomotive modeller in train sim. This saint is almost flawless and i cant wait for more! 9.5/10

What an absolutly brilliant loco! As a big fan of Great Western loco's myself this is a must have. The modeling is fantastic, sounds amazing as always and the many features included great again as always with Victory Works products. The TPO (Travelling Post Office) is an amazing feature for Train Sim and will surely give many hours of fun! All in all a brilliant product! 10/10! :)

This is another excellent steam locomotive from Victory Works. The first scenario is a very informative tutorial on the operation of the Travelling Post Office. The locomotive was very easy to drive and sounds are up to the same high quality as their previous locos. The second scenario is great with wonderful looking night time effects and a chance to do some serious mail bag exchanges. I am looking forward to doing the last two scenarios.

Ah, the Saint. I've been patiently waiting for this one since Victory Works posted the technical demo of the working TPO on their Blog back when I was still just a wee lad, or, at least, it felt like I still was. The Saint Class and TPO has been on the minds of the developer since 2009, and they should be very proud of the product they've set out to pasture for us. Even though I do have some little niggles, here is what I think of the newest DLC from Victory Works at the time of writing. The Saint Class itself is an absolute blast to drive. Packaged with the latest iteration of Victory Work's Advanced Driving mode, the Saint really has been sent down from Heaven. The newest features of the mode include "shovelful" firing, and a fireman who actually gets a little winded like the rest of us mortals. If you work the fireman too hard, he'll start to slow down and, eventually, will stop for a minute and take a breather. GWR fireman are real stalwarts, but being human and all, do have realistic limitations. Another newer feature is the "Head-Out" camera view, a new standard that I look for in all of my steam purchases. Even though I'm partial to Right-Hand drive, this GWR class is made a lot easier to drive with this new view. Also featured is a Steam Sounds Supreme sound set based off of other Churchward locos, since there isn't a working Saint in preservation, currently. It's very well done and seems to be well suited for the Saint and it's hungry two cylinders. Those aforementioned niggles would include the whistle sounds, which I find underwhelming. The long high whistle is not very well looped, and the short whistles are just too generic for my taste. I don't think it does the iconic GWR shrill justice. Also, while the loco model itself is beautiful and extremely accurate, the Saint Class was a very simple design, and there just aren't a lot of moving parts to be found around the loco. It reminds me of the Hall in that respect, wich makes sense, considering the Hall and other two-cylinder GWR classes were largely based on the Saint. The TPO, on the other hand, has so many moving parts it completely makes up for the comparatively dull Saint. If you haven't heard (or seen), the TPO picks up and drops off actual mail bags, and it looks so realistc! This is where the heart of the DLC lies, and makes for so many awesome opportunities for amazing scenarios. With the included mail exchange points and signage, you can add the TPO workings to any route. I'm so excited for all the user-made content about to be made for this! But, even though it picks up and drops off the mail, it doesn't do it in the most graceful of fashion. The moving parts on the TPO are jerky, and not at all natural. When you come within about 200 yards of the exchange point, the gates swing down with such force, I fear they'll brake off. It happens almost instantly. While I find this breaks the realism, it's something I can deal with. I also find that the other included stock, mainly the GWR Sunshine Composites, don't seem to match well with the TPO stock. The Chocolate and Cream livery has two different flavors of Chocolate, and the undercarraige of the Sunshine stock is quite a bit greyer than that of the TPO. I'm not sure why the sets are unmatching, but it sets off a portion of the otherwise wonderful look of the DLC. PROS, SAINT CLASS: Advanced mode SSS Sounds, a requirement in my opinion. New firing mechanisms, just wish I could cheer the fireman on! Auxiliary steam Injector (Allows for Exaust Steam injectors to work while there is no exaust steam) General attention to detail, as per the usual for Victory Works. CONS, SAINT CLASS: Simple, but accurate model Extremely loud first safety valve, my ears were ringing at the end of the scenarios, literally. Lackluster whistle PROS, TPO: TPO.... Need I say more? Working lineside equipment Great running/standing sounds, just listen as the doors slide open and shut at a station. Vast scenario potential CONS, TPO: Awful robotic animations of the exchange equipment on the TPO Glaring color variations between TPO and Sunshine stock Overall, this DLC is an absolute must if you consider yourself at all serious about the GWR or steam in general. This is yet another example of what is possible with Train Simulator and it's neglected, simplified use by DTG. If Dovetail put out advanced, accurate, special models like this one, we'd all be in a very different boat when it comes to things, currently. But, politics aside, the Saint Class is an iconic piece of machinery, and TPO trains served millions of people in their 150 years of service, with sorted mail still being carried by rail in the UK to this day. Considering these two historic examples are together in one DLC, I'd say this is indeed a match made in heaven. ;)
