This DLC may be okay, but I'm giving it a thumbs down for an unexcusable thing: misleading description. The problem is, this route is not real. While in the description of the original Chengdu-Suining route (which is fully included in this larger package) it does say (as I discovered belatedly) that it is "based" on real Chinese route with "enhacements", here even such a circumspect clarification is totally missing. I only discovered this when running first service with ThirdRails Map on second screen, and the route wouldn't match the real map, even going to cities, which have no rail at all in reality. There is nothing wrong in making a fictious route, mind you, but it should be clearly stated. As for the route itself, I only played it for a short time (on the most fictious section, as it happened). It is generally "okayish". Stations are very bare, track is bland, landscape is, I would say, serviceable. The train included is very basic in terms of modelling and looks like some early Railworks products. The cabin signalling system seems to work okay though and you can drive it as advertised. Generally I would say the whole thing is nothing special in terms of modelling, but it does give you an opportunity to drive Chinese high-speed trains at reasonably long distances, and at the same time there are enough stations to make the experience quite interesting and somewhat varied, if you are into this kind of thing.
