This add on is one of the best ones I've played so far. Lots to do and keep you busy and really scenic. I've only played a few of the scenarios so far but I'm really impressed at the detail. A few nice touches to see the world around 'working' as in keep an eye out for the Cranes and JCB's. Def worth getting if its in the sale.

This route is really good, however when at Lon' Victoria, it can sometimes get laggy. There are loads of smaller shuttles and scenarios you can do, e.g Victoria- Beckenham Jctn. If you get this, I recommend also getting the South Eastern HS route. I also recommend getting the scenario pack with it, because despite there being alot of scenarios, they're pretty short.

If you want some commuter power to test yourself to the limit, this route is for you. With heavy tight timetables, the Chatham mainline is sure to keep you on your foot with keeping up with time. However, a couple of the scenarios for the class 465 is quite difficult to stay on time, even at full power and at maximum track speed, so I will be deducting 2 marks off for that. Other than that, this is definitely a great route to have. A solid 8/10 from myself.

Great route that has more up to date scenery of stations, signalling and some track layouts of the non high speed section of the Faversham route. Loco's included is the ever popular Class 375 electrostar in dark blue livery and the Class 465 in white with dark blue band along the bottom. Options for workshop scenario making is ripe with the amount of potential available. No standard scenarios come with this route and the career scenarios primarily focus on the 465 with just only two scenarios for the 375. Despite sharing some track and stations from both the St Pancras-Faversham and London-Brigton the Class 465 included on the Chatham route IS NOT RELATED to the Southeastern Class 465 DLC as they are slighty different visually so don't expect the Chatham 465 to provide scenarios for the Faversham line. For those who use Armstrongs Powerhouse Class 375 sound pack, the sounds currently don't work on these 375's for the time being. Overall it's a fantastic add-on for commuter or emu fans.

I was waiting for this DLC for a long time and I'm really glad to have purchased it. There are a lot of details along the tracks and even if the length of the line is a little bit short - 70 km, 80 with the branches - you have 2 different types of trains for the price. The line is really versatile and you can drive a suburban service with plenty of stops as like as a faster train with non-stop service. I recommand you this DLC, and even more if you purchased London - Faversham AND Sheerness Branch, because you have a workshop line which is a merge of this 3 routes and that allow you to make longer service, for instance like London Victoria to Faversham !

Absolutely appalling & NOT fit for purpose. Full of bugs of which I reported two of & have been marked as resolved & closed (without any feedback, how rude!) when they have NOT been resolved and are still there. One of them where getting Game Over Error in a career scenario due to AI train derailment! This was reported on Dovetail games ticket system too.

Very impressed so far. It's a very interesting route. The framerates are excellent. On a 1440p monitor, I was getting around 40fps using 3xSSAA - it really looked marvellous! I think the lack of gantries ond overhead power lines helps when it comes to AA's hit on performance. Yes I'm using an overclocked GTX 980 ti but it can fall to it's knees with high AA on some routes. Also, the route has a really nice atmosphere - that nebulous quality that some routes have to let you escape into another world and leave tha daily concerns behind.

Considering this is my local line - get ready for some criticism. I travel this route very frequently in real life - and I'm pleased to say I reccomend it for a lot of reasons: 1) from my knowledge, London Victoria down to about Beckenham look really realistic. However, at Beckenham Junction there's some vital assets missing - for example the billboards are placed wrongly, the footbridge is at the wrong height, and they replaced the Waitrose next to the station with a warehouse. 2) from then on it gets really good until about Meopham. If you look left, the town centre is really bland and fillers could have been used. 3) Strood and Rochester look really good. Then we get to Chatham - and the copypasta from L-F begins. It's a shame how DTG have been lazy and copypasta'd the Chatham - Rainham segment. They've changed a slight amount of things, which have sadly made it worse. For example, leaving Chatham tunnel and on your left is a church. Guess what? No church - replaced with houses. Guess DTG actively support the Tories. 4) Chatham's road layout is quite good, and considering it's my local area I think it's mostly realistic 5) Level crossings at Gillingham and Rainham could have been replaced with full barriers (like in ECMLS) which they are IRL, but they've used half barriers. 6) Unexplained things on the route ahead on the HUD - worked out this weird >| thing is a whistleboard. In terms of routes, I rate it an 8/10 Time to move on to trains 1) Braking and accelerating unrealistic in terms of 375s 2) All 375s are SERefurb, sadly enough 3) 375 passenger view limited 4) Huge sound reduction in 375 cab 5) 465 'eastern' on the logo is the completely wrong colour. It's quite a good thing that we can use the 375 and 465 from L-F Overall I rate the trains a 4/10 I haven't yet travelled the Catford Loop line or Orpington line, but I hope there's no Copypasta involved. Because this route is so highly anticipated by myself and others, I'm going to rate it a total of 7/10 - I've been waiting for this a long time. Good work DTG, but could have easily been better.

I have taken the first scenario from Victoria Station to Gillingham and IMO the track and scenery is superb. I am most impressed thge route is right up there with the best of the british routes.

Another great route to go along London to Faversham as another way to explore Kent. Let's start on what I have rated...... PROS: +Very nice scenery on both London and Kentish country side. +Improved cab of the 465 and bit its new functions. +The career scenarios do have many AI traffic in them but they are very good too. +The stations that ends does have buffer stops so if you're near them then you have to go less then 10 MPH. +The new Rochester station really look nice! +The 375 in new blue skin. CONS: -The 465 and 375 sounds got screwed up from their previous versions. -The DSD (Driver Safety Device) alarm won't sound so you don't know on when to react to it. -The passenger views does have this sound coming from an DMU, they're electric. As I can acutally say that the line covers from Victoria in London to Rainham near Gillingham but there's a workshop item by Danny. If you have London ot Faversham and Sheerness Branch which will stitch both line together and making much longer runs. The networkers which is sold seprately for this as DLC and sound much better than the one that came with this route. I would recommend if you have London to Faversham, Sheerness, and the Networkers but this is still one of the British route for TS. I would rate this 7.5/10.
