Well i liked it, comes with a lot of planes, unlocks a new map, campaings, but there is some negative points, If you want the Modifications you need to buy another DLC and the English Channel Map seems to be "Too Heavy" and my computer feels like a Slug of Slow when running it, but worth it!

So downloaded channel battles, registered and used the key but when i go to play i don't appear to have any options on using any planes. What am i doing wrong?

This is a must have, I think. You get a new map, along with a few aircraft to match, and it really increases the playability for solo guys like me. If you're looking at DLC for this game, this pack should be your first priority.

very good, even though you only get one seaplane and a handful of fighters still pretty good considering that you also get some new maps too. Personally a good DLC and i got it during a sale so i didnt pay as much as normal

The Channel Battles adds a new great map, new campaings as well as new planes. +The map is wonderful. Its big, the sea looks great, the landscape looks wonderful. +The planes are wonderful as well. From the British flying boat to the Sopwith Camel or the Fokker DR.1 classic and great. I mean who doesn't wanna be the Red Baron himself? +3 new campaings are unlocked with this DLC. Its a wonderful DLC. The map is great, the planes are cool and the campaings are fun.

Just don't buy. All planes come missing so called "modifications" - which in fact are essentials like central sights for aiming. I feel deceived and wish I could get a refund.

The map's hit box / collision model is bad, the feilixstowe's destruction is not great, but otherwise a decent purchase. ( I got it on sale for 4 bucks)

Rise of Flight: United Edition now takes place of this pack in the Steam Store. This DLC adds a large amount of later war fighters including the famous Sopwith Camel, the Fokker Dr.I (Tri-plane the Red Baron flew), and the F.2a flying boat. As for singleplayer, this pack adds the English Channel to the players career mode, and the Hat in the Ring, Du Doch Nicht and St. Mihiel campaigns. Somethings you may want to consider before purchasing are that the aircraft coming with this pack to not include mods, which on planes like the Camel only affect upward visablility, affect planes like the Fokker Dr.I more when essential gauges like an altimeter, or a gunsight is a modifaction dependent on the Ace Pack. Regarding the campaigns, I have never attempted one myself, and am not very interested in doing so. Overall, I rate this DLC 7/10

[i]Channel Battles[/i] is a significant DLC for [url=http://steamcommunity.com/app/244050]Rise of Flight[/url] not just because it includes the English Channel map (which includes parts of the South English coast and Northern France), but also because it includes a variety of well-known aircraft – notably the [b]Fokker Dr.I[/b] Triplane, [b]S.E.5a[/b] and [b]Sopwith Camel[/b], which even novices to WW1 aviation may recognise. For all the content you get (which also includes various historical campaigns and missions), I would say it’s well worth the purchase – and recommend you have this one if looking where to start with DLC for Rise of Flight. NOTE: This DLC does not include the modifications for all the aircraft, you will need the [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/244060/]Ace Pack[/url] for those. These are not really essential, but do add more to these planes and a worthwhile follow up purchase. Also don't forget to grab the official skin-pack located [url=https://rof.s3.amazonaws.com/UM/RoF_Official_Skinspack_v.1.033.exe]here[/url] as it doesn't appear to be included in the base download for the game if wondering where certain skins shown in promotional are found.
