I agree with my fellow reviewers that the route is beautiful and very enjoyable. It's also quite unique since there are three different signalling systems covered (they are also nicely explained, so another point granted) and a significant amount of the route is the mountain pass. It feels quite different driving a 101 through along a slope. So why am I giving a thumbs down? The locomotives are a huge disappointment. The creators have reused the oldest versions of BR 101, 143, 151, 294 and V200. Their sounds and visuals are outdated and they don't support AFB, LZB, PZB90 and SIFA. They don't even have cab and instrument lights. They could have at least used the Hamburg-Hanover's BR 101 and 294 which are superior to the 'standard' version. Of course there's still Quick Drive enabling you to use any other train. I ran a quick drive session using the newer BR 101 and I accidentally proved my point because LZB mode seemed to work just fine with the route. Anyway, no wonder that the addon costs a bit less than most other up-to-date ones and the description completely skips the loco & rolling stock part. I would rather see this addon feature one properly detailed loco than 5 one's which are old and not fun anymore.

Beautiful route, nicely detailed-- framerates may be less than some other addons but runs smoothly on my 6yr old( high end for that time) PC.But since this is not a car racing game you really don't need 200 fps,19 to 40 I get works for me.Highly recommended

It's very beautiful and scenic railroad, but i don't see manual! On my laptop it show 15-30 fps (i7 2,8 Ghz, 16 Gb RAM, 2 Gb Video).

Don't be put by it's age; even in 2021, this is one of *the* best routes ever made for TS. Variation, decent included stock, scenic landscapes, three countries (although it's really an Austrian route) and the potential for a good variety of services. Highly recommended, even at full price.

Personally my favourite route in all of Train Sim, you have high speed operations between Lindau and Bludenz (160kph-200kph) and a twisty alpine section between Bludenz and St Anton where speeds max out at 80kph. And you get everything inbetween, regular stopping services, express services, Freight. And the scenery of the Austrian, German, Swiss alps is great. Easy recommendation for this product

I have mixed positve opinion about this route. The positives: - Brilliant idea with 3 countries it serves as good introductory route for the region. All three signaling systems are modelled and work, so you can decide which country you like the most (although it's mostly Austrain route, Swiss route is short and German minimal) - Very nice and varied region with fast main line next changing into medium speed mountain route - Lindau is a nice place where S-Bahn services start and also a loco switching point for IC trains so you can drive realistically especially if you own Bludenz-Innsbruck route where Lindau-Innsbruck would be natural shift for an Austrian driver - Pretty long - Map included in the manual shows speed restrictions and stations according to the mile posts. Amazing thing allowing HUDless driving from the beginning. This feature should be included in ALL routes - Well made scenarios The negatives: - Scenery looks a bit outdated - Some minor signalling errors for example when leaving side track in a station the semaphore shows no restriction - Only basic rolling stock - Swiss branch doesn't really fit the route. It's just too short and can't be used for any realistic driving although it's a nice addition - QD seems to have no AI traffic. Also even though we chose IC the QD keeps sending us to side tracks on small stations where IC normally don't stop To summarise. It's a great route for beginner players who want to explore some German/Austrian/Swiss systems before they decide in which part of the world to invest money later. PZB works as intended (if you have rolling stock for that). Also very good manual which allows for HUDless driving without making notes and route learning. The region is really beatiful and different types of driving are there - from fast main line to medium speed mountain driving. Definitely worth a try!

Definitely a very high price for this poor scenery. It has a great potential but is really dated! Here are the reasons: - there are only German trains (a shame! I expected also Austrian trains at least (like Semmeringbahn or Mittenwaldbahn) and they are taken straight from the "Hagen to Siegen line", in fact on one train you can clearly read "Siegen" as destination); - some tunnels are too tight, with the signals that seem hitting the train; - one loco (DB V 200.0) has a problem with the lights that can be tourned only red and never white; - cars don't move and they are stationary near railway crossings; - snow effect is REALLY poor, also general wheather is poor; - the whole scenery is old, really old! It needs a general update (signals, trains, landscapes and general graphic). In one station I even saw a British building... This scenery has, in my opinion, a great potential, but since it is so dated, I don't think 22,99 € is a fair price. For this price I expect the newest graphics and better trains.

This is a great add-on for TS, and as soon as I saw it; I was reminded of my own travels there from 1972. I crossed Lake Constance by ferry/steamer and spent time in Lindau. So whenever I use this, I will always remember the place and times. Yes it is THAT good.In the same way that Preston Station is well re--created on the WCML [Over Shap] route. I would recommend the Three Corners route/s/ to anyone - Well done.

This is by far the best route ever made for TS 2015 - I mean, there is mainline, mountain pass, local trains, everything! The frame rate is good for me, if you have problems, just slide the object density to left :)
Scores:
Route detail: 95% Scenarios: 90% Rolling stock: 20% (Uses very old version of DB BR 101 and DB BR 143 - no SIFA and PZB) Price / quality 100% Overall: 92%

Yes, as was pointed out, this is a heavy scenario. But considering if its a pro or a con its up for discussion. Frame rates can be bad not cause of bad optmisation, but because of the large number of objects. I have ALL of original DTG routes and I am pretty sure this is the one with most detail: trees, buildings, signs, poles, cars..... its everywhere! But with my computer I was able to get a solid 30 fps in high setting for most of the track (specs: windows 7, I7 proc 3.2, SSD HD 512 Gb, 16 RAM, GTX 970 card). Playable althought not very smooth. So for the quality in detail I do recommend but you need a good PC for sure.....
