Really excellent co-op take on a roguelike souls game. The two big complaints we had were some pretty uneven difficulty spikes from level to level and lack of clear documentation on stat impact/weapons/etc that should be in the codex. Despite that, consistently fun with very impactful and interesting build choices as the run goes along. The weapons/classes/relics all feel very different, and pretty well balanced. Absolutely worth playing if you got a friend or three to play with.

At it's core, plays exactly like Dark Souls / Elden Ring. A full run of 4 levels takes you about 1.5hrs. Difficulty scales well with number of players. I didn't experience any notable glitches or bugs. Good performance. No matchmaking or drop-in/out. No cosmetic character customization. Although you have to start each run from the first level, you unlock soulslike shortcuts to make it easier next time.

Excellent proof of concept--like others have already said, it has a lot similarities to Nightreign, but, if managed well, the finished product should exceed Nightreign in a lot of regards. 1) Level design is stellar and already far exceeds what most other Souls-likes bring to the table. They really went after the sense of scale and awe that Fromsoft titles are known for; however, because the world is handcrafted and isn't procedurally generated, the game will probably suffer a bit quicker from replay fatigue compared to most rogue-likes. On this note, the game could do a better job of creating more opportunities to find secrets hidden in throughout the world (Remnant 2 does a good job with this, for example). There are currently 2 areas with 4 zones each, so 8 total zones--given the current map, it looks like the game may try to launch with a total of 3 areas and 12 zones? Perhaps in the finished product they can do a mode that randomizes which zone you warp to after each boss? Or perhaps even options to take multiple different paths through the areas to the final boss? 2) Spread of powers and how many you're able to collect in a single run is actually dialed in pretty well at this time. Compared to Nightreign, this game gives you a lot to work with, and a lot of opportunities to pick up new powers, and that allows you to spiral into your power fantasy pretty reliably. This will be the trickiest one calibrate as the game continues development since the main draw of souls-like combat is the ideal balance of it being punishing yet fair--if it's too hard, the powers don't really help; too easy, and the powers trivialize the game. 3) Weapons and customization. Currently the game features an okay variety of weapons and classes, but this an area where they could, and frankly need to, expand a bit in order to set itself apart from other roguelikes. Players want greater degrees of permanent progression that you're constantly working on between runs: Give us a robust talent tree (like in Gunfire Reborn, for example) so that we're chasing experience for the next few points. Give us class questlines that span several runs for the more ceremonious class unlocks. Give us more specialized class functions (and synergies) so it doesn't just seem like we're just starting with a different artifact and slightly different stats. Give us weapon upgrades (gems, enchants) that we can unlock and assign in the hub... etc. etc. These are all the main things that are going to keep players coming back over and over for another run--there needs to be something worth chasing beyond the moment to moment gameplay itself. Very excited to come back to this in a year or so to see where things go. A lot of potential here to be something great.

Is it good? Yeah, it's good Does it have Bugs? OH YEAH, But it's early access so that makes sense Do the bugs cost time and end runs? Without fail Should you buy this or Nightreign? Nightreign is still better, but more expensive.

Some of the most fun I've ever had playing and learning a new game. It reminds me of playing Destiny 2 raids while incorporating the fun of a rouge like. It can be brutally difficult when playing alone, but the multiplayer experience is incredible and chaotic in the best way. The boss design is also really fun. My only critique is the fact that it's still early access because I can't stop playing and want more If your reading the reviews just buy the game, it's great.

Nice game finally managed to finish a run on base difficulty Runs take around 1.5 hrs if you know where to go Level layouts don't change, only the mobs and roguelite upgrades you might get The sword feels pretty balanced and fast right now with a nice force push ability and ranged stab All the 4 bosses so far were pretty fun to fight Should turn out pretty good once the rest of the content is out and you can save the game on exit

The art design is amazing, the music is great. The combat is good, it needs some tightening up with hit timing and hopefully parrying added in the future. It's a great co-op game, but just as fun as a single player game. The art style and vibe of the game kind of reminds me of an old movie called The Fall from 2006. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZtQH_cwTOw There's some fun buff and negative effect mechanics that change up your playthroughs. I'm looking forward to seeing how much more is added to the game and what changes they might make to create an amazing experience in the long term.

I dont review much but as a small developer seeing a game like this with so much heart and soul i cant help but say its a very well made experience will a very deep system when it comes to character builds. THER ARE SO MANY! PROS: - Very darksouls. Even has shortcuts you can open that stay open forever. So your next run you can use them. - It is very much a roughlike - The dogerolls DO have i frames and you can get abilities that make the I frames longer - Fun solo -Fun with 2 -Fun with 3 - Not a easy game (still have not beat a run) - a massive amount of build types you can do. This includes weapons, characters and all the stat upgrades such as relics and seeds. - Game is full of soul ( What i mean is the game feels like it was made by a team who was really enjoying what they were building) Something that is not very common surprisingly in this industry. - Devs this was super cool of you ! When your in the middle of a run and invite a friend they just pop into your run with you. I was in a run with a friend and a 3rd wanted to join but we had some really fun builds going and didnt want to redo just to bring him. So my buddy invited him as a joke. To our surprise he was put into our game instantly. So cool and just one of those prime examples of soul. Cons: i will not mention anything that is currently being fixed. Any negative comments about glitches are not valid anymore as the devs has updates on steam calling out the issues. - The second boss that looks like a rhino i would really like to see his one attack were he sprints around the map like a train not be so janky looking. Its very still compaired to every other animation and looks like a pinball bouncing around the walls. Im having a very hard time thinking of things because again this is a early access game that is 15$ and theres not much i dont like. I think this game is the bees knees. Try it out

The game is pretty good tbh It's still in Early Access tho and it feels very unpolished right now The boss fights are decent but the original art style is fantastic I really hope the developers don't abandon this project midway Please keep working on it cuz it has a lot of potential I'd definitely recommend it and would happily buy it again once it's fully release
