Fantastic pack so far and really enjoying it. However, be warned it doesn't seem to like the Just Trains 3D track and the cab sounds are far too loud for my taste. Using an exterior view and having the sound at a good volume then switching to the cab is a deafening experience. Otherwise top marks!

Great add-on from DTG, desperately needs Durham coast route though for passenger pick ups. Great for ECML for AI. Perhaps with the buffer HST pack update with the official grand central livery.

The Class 180 'Adelante' For TS Is A Very Detailed Unit, Something We Don't Get That Much Of From Dovetail Games. It Has A Lot Of Features In The Cab, Including A Coupler Door. The Sounds Are Pretty Accurate, Though The Horn Should Definitely Be Louder, As Class 180 Horns Are Loud In Real Life. It Would Be Nice If We Got First Great Western And/Or First Hull Trains Livery With It, But Grand Central Livery Is A Really Nice Livery Anyway. I Definitely Reccomend It, As It Is A Lovely Unit For Your TS Collection.

Well done DTG, You have finally woke up to the fact you need some detail in your unit for that i solute you. The class 180 is by far one of the best dlc items in recent months the model looks rather good apart from looking slightly flat on the front but thats a minor thing, Sounds though are decent until you accelerate then it sounds like a jet engine is with you in the drivers cab which does get slightly annoying but still minor. Theres fully working tpws which caught me but stopped me before i did a spad, Fully functional brake squeel especially when in full emergency braking ( also has a brake over ride) working train management computer which even shows you which side the doors are open on just sad its one livery saying that the northern rail, fgw and first great northern liveries are also free on sites now

A very decent train from DTG. The usual good looking superbly detailed train that is marred by the usual poor sounds. Inside the cab the engine sounds are great, but once you are at speed it sounds like there is sizzling Bacon in the cab which is very annoying, Fix the sounds and it's a very good piece of kit!

A very nice add-on from DTG in my opinion and this was one of the first DLC's I bought shortly after buying Train Simulator when it was TS2015 last year. I like the Grand Central livery as it does suit the Class 180 very nicely in my opinion. The cab view is one of my favourites on a passenger train as it is streamlined and modern which I like. The physics are very good and balanced as well as it doesn't take too long to get to line speed of 125mph (and higher to around 132 of so if you break the speed limit) and there is a speed set button which can be pressed which will hold the train at that speed or a couple of miles under. But it disengages when you move the power handle though. Which can be either a good thing or a bad thing. The sounds however are not so great and perhaps the horn could be calibrated better so that a smooth two tone sequence of the horn could be achieved better. The brakes a bit slack as well as it takes a while to come a stop from line speed (more than in a HST!). But apart from the sounds and the weak brakes, this is a very nice pack from DTG and if you own the London to Peterborough route. There is a couple of scenarios supplied for career mode that can be played. I would have liked some standard mode scenarios as I don't really play arcade mode much. But its certainly a train pack to consider getting and there is some reskins available of the Class 180 in First Great Western, GWR, Northern Rail and Hull Trains that have been made by the train simulator community which adds more variety to this pack. Overall Rating: 9/10.

I was looking forward to this and, once worked out I need EFX turned on to hear the sounds properly, I'm not disappointed. The sounds could have a bit more grunt to them but that is only minor. The model itself looks really good, it drives nicely and the cab is well done. I found the passenger view a bit too bright but I don't drive from there so that doesn't matter. Recommended as essential for anyone who owns one of the ECML parts. Recommended purchase for anyone who has the Great Western Mainline because a FGW repaint is bound to emerge from somewhere at some stage. Score 8.5/10

Tre train itself is an exellent model with ok sound and absolutely disastrous controls without defined steps in acceleration/braking and with 0 that is almost impossible to find. Reminds me of class 68. Somebody may call it 'challenging' but I think it's just an unprofessional and lazy work. The real loco has well defined zero so why can't we? There are only 3 scenarios: 1st and 2nd are straight time race for both halves of the route (no end to end scenario) trailing the slow service so it's from red to yellow and to red again and the 3rd is a 'story' one - night, rain and ridiculously tight timetable with start/stop jumping. It's for high speed train, boys and girls. You are welcome. Verdict: They could make a fast travel show as the ECML route is basically made for it, they could even play with the whole Class 180 story of being unreliable and make you fight with unexpected stops and delays, they had everything to make a decent loco DLC but decided just to sell you the 3D model instead. The model is very good, no objections.

Quite a decent train in a very long while from DTG, model is excellent except for the from/back yellow section being a little too flat. Sounds are ok but still something that is very weakly done by DTG. (When they graps the concept of going out and recording sounds like other 3rd party devs, then that will be progress) Not happy that it was only released with Grand Central livery only could have been a good opportunity to revive some sparks with the GWR route releasing a FGW skin option, why not? But as usual thats something that fans will have to rectify with a custom skin to increase the addons longevity. But overall a very nice addition to the game and would for sure recommend, hopefully more extensions to Sunderland and/or Bradford would be nice to give the addon a place in the game.
