Awsome engine amzaing feauture well worth the money. Is made better with mods from Railworks America to make the engine louder and ditchlights brighter as well as physics and the horn and bell.

On sale? Sure, it ain't too bad to be perfectly honest. As frustrating as it is, 3rd party physics will pretty much set this locomotive out as one of the better options available today. Unfortunately, the pack as a whole is kinda pitiful. 20 bucks for one singular model in one singular skin, 3 scenarios, and a centerbeam that we've seen for well over a decade now. Meh. It ain't worth 20 bucks. The locomotive itself is alright. Textures are decent and the overall model is quite nice. The sounds ain't bad, though the engine growl needs to be upped. Another 3rd party upgrade, again. It's very basic, not much to really do as far as start up and shutdown and whatnot, not near as complex as the old VRC stuff or even Reppo stuff. Good for HUD driving. One thing I LOVE, though, is the flange squeal. It sounds SOOOOOOO much better than the garbage DTM uses. Not that stupid high pitched continuous screech, it has a nice "cling, clang, squeak, squeal" to it that is laughably more realistic than the DTM crap that we keep hearing on packs now.

Nice loco realy like it but you cant hear te sound much and not much smoke come from the exourste eighter for some reason no number plates on the loco above the windscreen :S overhall i would recomend to buy it worth the 11.99£ :)

Not a bad loco from DTG this time which is nice. Externally it's rather nice and you can tell how many of the engines are in use by looking at the exhauts to see how many lids are up with the only downside being that the headlights don't appear to be operational when switched on.
In the cab it's the general setup seen on most US loco's. You get a digital speedo that is nice but out of sync with the HUD, lights that show how many engine sets currently in use, working cab signaling, adjustable ditch lights, bell can't really be heard in the cab and low speed sounds are the usual cut and paste job by DTG as i've also heard it on the Feather River Canyon and the Class 395 to list a few.
Three scenarios are included but you don't travel very far and only one livery is included. I got this on sale for $5.99 but I'm still fine with it.

I have to say this is an awesome loco add-on! Really good sounds and horn and an okay bell. The cab interior is great and nicely detailed. The engine is modelled greatly with nice details. The DLC comes with one CSX Genset engine(No crew variant as well) and a centerbeam car along with three scenarios.
Downside: The ditch lights aren't very bright and you have to manually turn them on with a switch and manually use a switch to get them flashing. They don't flash with the horn blown like other locos. Other than that this DLC is great!

I purchased this content during a sale not really expecting to play it very much but it quickly became of my favourites. It's a nice, relaxing experience to drive and the level of detail is good. It has some small quirks but they're nothing that could stop hours of enjoyment.

This is a fantastic engine! Great horn and the CSX logo is made perfectly on the side not to big, not to small. Cant really hear the engine sounds but its a strong engine. i recommend this indeed

Sound doesn't change with throttle level. Brakes seems a little too powerful. No number boards. Seems that hits frame rates a little bit more than other locos. All in all good engine, just needs a bit of tweaking or patching
