like it says elsewhere on this page,it is already in my steam library and already have the necessary routes as well but i cannot find it in game.it has all the hall marks to to be a dlc loco.i can't decscribe anything about it because i cannot play it in game.

Very basic in terms of controls. I'm not sure if light should work like they do, but aside from this, it's a lovely little shunter. I think it instantly became my favourite british diesel shunter in this game, the wagons are also nicely made and with really neat weathering and graffiti. I love this loco's slightly sloped sides, narrow cab and tiny 0-6-0 wheels, it just feels very nice to look at to me. The sounds are very nice, there is no annoying idling, everything is seamlessly mixed. The horn is not separated into two different buttons for each tone but it sounds good enough for me to be okay with it. Also I've been very pleasantly surprised to see it show up as quickdrive AI on the West Highland Line Extension route. I ran the blue version on it just because I thought it would fit there and oh! just saw that the people making preloads felt the same as another 07 began to roll next to me! It really fits in there and adds something completely different to its much bigger comrade class 37. For that reason, it's also worth getting the blue reskin because it fits the late BR oriented traffic better.

Eh, nah. Even on sale, it's not great. On sale, it IS like 4 US dollars, but thats about where the redeeming features end. First off, as many have stated, recycled sounds. I hate recycled sounds. Second, the god-awful flange scream. Loud, obnoxious, continuous, and so very unrealistic. Not a proper "cling clang scrape" as it should be, just a constant "SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM" all the way around any curve at any speed. Third, the texturing. You can't see half the detail, or ANY of the undercarriage, cause the shadows are SO baked in and dark. The sun can be full broad side and the entire lower half of the locomotive is JUST hardly visible. Like they turned the shader bar as low as possible. Included stock is just meh. Not really new.

First off, I will start with stating that my expectations are based on experience I have working on and driving a real preserved BR Class 07 Shunter. The model of the loco in and out is pretty good and accurate, including the movement of axle lubricator pump which is driven by the side rods. But we don't all buy these sim models to simply look at on our computer or to tow it with another loco, otherwise it would be great. Sadly the developers have cut a huge corner by using the engine sounds, performance and speed from what I am assuming is one of the BR Class 08 add ons. (Another locomotive I have had real life working and driving experience on in preservation). To me this is a huge disappointment because the 07's and 08's are 2 totally different machines and have very very few mechanical similarities. The 07's have a higher maximum speed than the 08's, But they don't have as much power and tractive effort as the 08's. Also the engine of an 07 is a compact fast revving V6 and sounds completely different from the 08's large slow revving straight 6 engine. In Summery I can't recommend this add on as I was simply expecting an 07.... Not an 08 in disguise....
